Parliament of South Australia

Official website of the Parliament of South Australia. The site has background information about the Parliament including history, how Parliament works, the system of government and information about Parliament House (including a virtual tour which requires IPIX plug -in). The role of the House of Assembly and the Legislative Council is dealt with giving profiles of each member, a calendar of sitting days and notice papers giving details of current business.

States of Alderney Government

Website of the Government of Alderney, the third largest of the Channel Islands. Alderney is a self-governing crown dependency which forms part of the Bailiwick of Guernsey. The website explains the Island's constitutional position, its relationship with the United Kingdom, the role of the States of Alderney (the legislature) which consists of a President and ten States Members and the Alderney States Committees.

Canadian Law List

Website of a directory of Canadian law firms, lawyers, judges and government departments produced by the Canadian legal publisher Canada Law Book Inc. and made freely available online. The directory provides profiles and contact details (including email and website addresses) for each entry and is searchable by individual lawyer, law firm, region, practice area and government department. An online form and payment details are included on the site enabling lawyers or law firms to submit their own entry to the directory.

Government of Nunavut

Official site of the Government of Nunavut. Nunavut was established by the Canadian Parliament Nunavut Act 1993 in recognition of the rights and land claims of the Inuit, the territory's indigenous people. Nunavut officially joined the federation of Canada in 1999. The website provides general information about the history, people, culture and government of Nunavut, with links to the Legislative Assembly and other government departments. The information is also available in French, Inuktitut and Inuinnaqtun.

Administrative Appeals Tribunal of Australia decisions

A free Web database containing full-text decisions of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal of Australia from 1976. Materials are supplied and selected by the Tribunal. Decisions are in HTML format. A case name search, alphabetical browse list and list of recent cases are provided. This database forms part of AustLII (the Australasian Legal Information Institute) service developed by the University of Technology in Sydney to provide public access to primary legal materials.

South African Government Information: documents

This part of the South African Government Information website provides access to government publications including legislation, policy documents and documentation provided on provincial government websites. The site offers full text legislation including a copy of the Constitution. There are government notices, documents open for public comment, annual reports of government departments and agencies and downloadable forms.

Scottish Human Rights Commission

The Scottish Human Rights Commission (SHRC) was created by The Scottish Commission for Human Rights Act 2006, and formed in 2008. This followed several years of reports and feasibility studies. Its mandate is to "promote all human rights ¹ civil, political, economic, social and cultural". The website contains details of the Commission's Strategic Plan, and will also include news, publications and events as they become available.

Ministry of Government Legislation - Republic of Korea

The Ministry of Government Legislation of the Republic of Korea (South Korea) is responsible for reviewing and ensuring the constitutionality of legislative bills. There is a limited English-language version of its website with information about the history and functions of the ministry. The Korean-language version includes publications on legislation-related topics, a legal newsletter, the Comprehensive Legal Information Service System, the Digital Legislation Supporting System and a Database of Law History.
