England and Wales High Court (Administrative Court) Decisions

A BAILII (British and Irish Legal Information Institute) database containing decisions of the Administrative Court of the Queen's Bench Division of the High Court of England and Wales (previously known as the Crown Office List). The database contains all decisions handed down from August 1999 onwards to date. Decision handed down from May 1996 to August 1999 have been provided by the official shorthandwriters WordWave International Ltd. Cases are listed alphabetically by party name and chronologically by year and can be searched by keyword.

Lois sur la nationalité des pays et territoires européens

Website presented as a table of countries providing links to relevant legislation on nationality and private international law (in the original language), links to relevant case law, links to relevant bibliographies and to any relevant translations of the primary or secondary materials. Many European countries and former Soviet states are included in the table and there are also links to materials on the nationality law of Mexico, the Philippines and the Republic of Korea.

Washington Courts

Official government website for the State Courts of Washington State in the United States, covering the Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, Superior Courts, District Courts and Municipal Courts. The site provides information on the work and structure of State Courts including a Court Directory and Court News service with online press releases and details of employment opportunities. A collection of published and unpublished Supreme Court and Court of Appeals opinions are posted on the site for 90 days, searchable by date or keywords.

United States Law Week

Online version of US Law Week, the weekly digest providing headnoted summaries of State and Federal court decisions and agency rulings that set precedent, involve controversial issues, or present new perspectives on established legal principles in the United States. The online service is based on a fee-paying subscription. Registration for a free trial subscription and access to a sample issue are provided by the publisher, Bureau of National Affairs, Inc. In particular Law Week includes the full-text (with headnotes) of all U.S.

Washington Post Supreme Court

Supreme Court pages of the Washington Post online newspaper. The service provides summaries and stories of cases before the US Supreme Court from the current term. Background stories and news items are also featured on this page. Key cases for the current term are listed by subject area. There are also brief biographical details and links to Washington Post stories for each Supreme Court Justice provided on the site. Some of the content requires free registration before it can be viewed on the site.

British and Irish Legal Information Institute

The British and Irish Legal Information Institute (BAILII) provides free access to legislation, cases, law reform reports and other legal materials from the United Kingdom, Jersey, Ireland, the European Court of Human Rights, the European Court of Justice and the EU's General Court. The cases are from the higher courts and tribunals; most date from the last two decades or so, but BAILII also provides a collection called Leading Case Law by Subject, and many of these cases are much older. Materials may be browsed by jurisdiction, title and year.

Chan Robles Virtual Law Library

Online law library compiled by Chan Robles, a law firm in the Philippines. Provides Philippines legislation, decisions of the Philippines Supreme Court (1901 onwards), treaties involving the Philippines and several versions of the Constitution of the Philippines. Many of the documents are in html format and do not seem to be official texts. The site also has links to educational, professional and reference resources worldwide. The site is in English.

Lovdata

This free website provides Norwegian consolidated statutes, central regulations, recommendations and local regulations; the official gazette, 'Norsk lovtidende'; and cases from the last four months in the Supreme Court (Høyesterett) and appeal courts (lagmannsrettane). It also has a large set of English translations of statutes, regulations, plus one translated Supreme Court judgment. Lovdata is a private foundation set up by the Norwegian Ministry of Justice and the Faculty of Law at the University of Oslo.

Westlaw UK

Westlaw UK is an online legal research service for the UK and EU, created by leading UK publishers Sweet & Maxwell. It is a subscription service, accessed by password. Westlaw UK provides a comprehensive collection of legal sources: UK and EU case law, UK and EU legislation, EU official publications, journal articles, Legal Journals Index, textbooks and encyclopaedias, news and business information. The website provides background information, technical specifications, support details and a feedback form for expressions of interest.
