Employment Insurance Jurisprudence Library

A searchable database of Canadian insurance jurisprudence including Canadian Umpire Benefits decisions, Federal Court decisions and Supreme Court decisions along with a number of related Provincial Court and Human Rights Tribunal decisions. A collection of the most important decisions can be searched separately. Materials are carried in full-text and presented in HTML format. Help notes on searching the database are provided. The service is made freely available online by the Minister of Public Works and Government Services in Ottawa, Ontario.

Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission: Decisions, Notices and Orders

A database of Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) decisions, notices and orders (DNOs). Reporting to Parliament through the Minister of Canadian Heritage, the CRTC is "an independent agency responsible for regulating Canada's broadcasting and telecommunications systems." Decisions can be browsed by number and/or by keyword searching back to 1984 for most sections. The site is available in English and French, the official languages of Canada. The English and French language searching pages search for English and French documents respectively.

Court of Appeal of Hong Kong Judgments

A Hong Kong Legal Information Institute (HKLII) database containing judgments of the Court of Appeal of Hong Kong from 1993 onwards. Decisions are listed by party name and year, and there is a search facility. HKLII is a joint project of the University of Hong Kong Faculty of Law and AUSTLII, the Australasian Legal Information Institute, aiming to provide free access to the primary legal materials of Hong Kong SAR.

Court of Final Appeal of Hong Kong Judgments

Full text judgments of the Court of Final Appeal of Hong Kong in English, made freely available on the Hong Kong Legal Information Institute (HKLII) website. The HKLII database contains all judgements made since the Court was established in 1997. HKLII enables users to browse for judgements and search texts and/or titles. A recent updates list provides details of new cases added to the service.

World Legal Information Institute

The World Legal Information Institute (WorldLII) is a collaborative initiative providing free access to legislation, case law, treaties, law reform reports and law journals for jurisdictions worldwide. Users can browse by country or region, or by type of legal literature (legislation, case law and so on), and search facilities are available. WorldLII was developed by the Australasian Legal Information Institute and partner institutions.

Hong Kong Legal Information Institute

The Hong Kong Legal Information Institute (HKLII) is a joint project to provide free access to the primary legal materials of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The project partners are the University of Hong Kong Law and Technology Centre, and AUSTLII, the Australasian Legal Information Institute. Search and browse options offer access to a range of full-text databases: the judgments of the Court of Final Appeal (1997 to date), the judgments of the Court of Appeal (1946 to date), and judgments of the family and district courts, and the Lands Tribunal.

McLibel Trial

Website publishing a range of information about the "McLibel Trial", the libel case brought by multinational company McDonalds against two London activists, which became the longest court case in English history. The site has been developed by the London based McLibel Support Campaign, a group formed in 1990 to raise funds for the defendants. The judgement is made freely available on the site in full text or summary form. Other legal materials on the site include the defendents' appeal against the judgement and a copy of the leaflet at the centre of the trial, "What's Wrong with McDonalds".

ASIL Electronic Resource Guide: European Union

Online guide focusing on electronic resources for researching the law of the European Union, by Marylin Johnson Raisch (Associate Law Librarian for International and Foreign Law at the John Wolff International and Comparative Law Library of the Georgetown Law Center in the United States). Last updated in 2014, it is part of ASIL's Guide to Electronic Resources for International law. It gives an overview of the treaties establishing the European Union, the Europa website, finding EU legislation and the legislative process.

Decisions of the Free State High Court, South Africa

SAFLII database providing judgments of the Free State High Court in Bloemfontein, South Africa, from 2002 onwards. Cases, which are in English or Afrikaans, can be browsed by party name or year, and there is a search facility. The Southern African Legal Information Institute (SAFLII) is a collaborative project of the Wits Law School in South Africa and the Australasian Legal Information Institute (AustLII) providing free South African legal information.
