Advocate Khoj

Advocate Khoj is an Indian law website intended for the general public. Its main purpose is to put people with legal problems in touch with qualified lawyers, via the ‘Post your Case’ section; registration is required to use this service, but there is no charge. Advocate Khoj also provides primary and secondary Indian legislation, Indian Supreme Court judgments, official forms, a glossary and other Indian legal information.

East African Court of Justice

The East African Court of Justice is the judicial body of the East African Community. Its website provides judgments from 2005 onwards; they are listed in alphabetical order and can be filtered by year and/or type of case. The News section of the site provides lists of pending cases as well as press releases. The website also makes available procedural rules, the Protocol on the Establishment of the East African Community Common Market, the Protocol on the Establishment of the East African Customs Union and the Treaty for the Establishment of the East African Community.

Employment tribunal decisions

Database of recent employment tribunal decisions from England, Wales and Scotland. The database was launched in April 2017 and is on the UK Government website. Tribunal judgments can be searched by key word and filtered by date, jurisdiction and/or subject (the list of subjects is called ‘Jurisdiction code’). Email alerts are available regarding new or updated decisions.

Judiciary of Kenya

Website of the Kenyan Judiciary. Provides cause lists and court decisions from the courts in Kenya, including the Supreme Court, Court of Appeal and High Court. Describes the history of the judiciary in Kenya, and details the system of courts in place, with brief descriptions of the function of each court. Also contains information on the different offices of the judiciary, and a resource centre.

Jurisprudence (OHCHR)

Database of all cases decided by UN human rights treaty bodies: the Human Rights Committee (CCPR), the Committee against Torture (CAT), the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW), the Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (CERD), the Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD), the Committee on Enforced Disappearances (CED), the Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (CESCR), and the Committee on the Rights of the Child (CRC).

Mental Health Law Online

Mental Health Online is a free portal website providing an internet resource on mental health law, and mental capacity law, for England & Wales. The site provides links to case law, legislation and general information on mental health; as well as producing an Annual Review which contains all news items, arranged thematically, which were added to the website during that year

Federal Shariat Court

Pakistan’s Federal Shariat Court was established in 1980. Its website provides a database of judgments from about 2004 onwards; there is also a page devoted to leading cases, including full-text judgments, brief details of criminal cases from 1980 onwards and summaries of shariat petitions from 1980 onwards. The site gives an overview of the Court’s jurisdiction and lists the judges. It also provides cause lists, court rules, annual reports, statistics, four digitised books and a few articles. The site is almost wholly in English, but the articles are only in Arabic.

Islamabad High Court

Islamabad High Court was established in 2010, covering the Islamabad Capital Territory, Pakistan. Its website provides selected judgments, cause lists and rules. Information about the Court’s history and profiles of the judges are also given along with a comprehensive list of links to Pakistan legal resources.

Peshawar High Court

High Court for the province of Peshawar, Pakistan. Its website provides judgments from about 2010 onwards, together with cause lists, information about the Court’s history and lists of judges. There is also a directory of the Peshawar district courts and a list of special courts.
