LLRX.com (Law Library Resource Exchange) is a free legal technology e-journal for information professionals specialising in law. It provides resource guides, feature articles and columns on legal research and technology issues. Articles can be browsed by date, author, or subject, and there is a search facility. Many articles focus on US law, but foreign law is also covered, and most of the technology articles are not limited to a particular jurisdiction.

Swiss Institute of Comparative Law

The Swiss Institute of Comparative Law (Institut suisse de droit comparé, or ISDC) was established in Lausanne in 1982. Its primary task is to prepare legal opinions in respect of foreign law for the Federal authorities, courts, lawyers and other individuals. It also produces studies in comparative law, holds colloquia and carries out research projects. The Institute has an extensive law library, whose catalogue is available via the website. A set of legal links for countries from Afghanistan to Zambia is available on the Law Online page, annotated in English.

Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law

The Max-Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law is a research institute carrying out research in the following areas: public international law; comparative constitutional and administrative law; international environmental law; European constitutional law and administrative law. The site has information on the history and organisation of the Institute. It also provides working papers and other publications, a blog and the library's online catalogue. The site is in English and German.

Women's Human Rights Resources Programme

The Women's Human Rights Resources Programme is a database maintained by staff at Bora Laskin Law Library, University of Toronto. It contains articles and documents relating to women's human rights law, a collection of research guides and bibliographies, details of law courses in Canada relating specifically to women and a directory of women's rights organisations in Canada. Issues covered include: immigration, indigenous women's rights, violence against women, reproductive rights, feminist theory, religion and culture, race and gender, and domestic implementation of international law.

Basic guide to researching foreign law

Online guide to researching foreign law written by Mary Rumsey who is Foreign, Comparative & International Law Librarian at the University of Minnesota. The guide was published in 2005 and updated in 2016 on the Globalex website and is made freely available by the Hauser Global Law School Program at the New York University School of Law. The author focuses on finding the laws of countries other than the U.S and emphasises statute rather than case law.

Same-Sex Marriage: A Selective Bibliography of the Legal Literature

Online bibliography compiled by Paul Axel-Lute of the Rutgers Law Library at the Rutgers School of Law-Newark in the United States. The bibliography was first published in September 2002 and was last updated in June 2010. The emphasis is on US law and the bibliography provides references and links to materials supporting both sides of the argument. There is a brief introduction giving background and historical information to the movement for same-sex marriage and the first part of the bibliography includes web based resources and books.

IP Justice

IP Justice (IPJ) is a US non-profit organisation that promotes individual intellectual property rights. The website sets out its 'Principles of IP Justice' and provides IPJ publications and news, focusing on digital rights, internet governance and innovation policy. There is also information about IPJ's Cyberlaw and Policy Clinic.

This website is part of the World Legal Information Institute's Catalog of websites. Under each country there are standard headings for courts and case law, government,legislation, lawyers etc. In addition there are more detailed subject headings (Banking and Finance law or Intellectual Property, for example) which vary from country to country.
