Stanford Law and Policy Review

The Stanford Law and Policy Review is an academic journal concentrating on issues of law and public policy published twice a year by the law students of Stanford Law School. Each issue contains a Symposium of 6 to 12 articles on one specific topic along with additional feature articles on different topics. Themes of past issues have included law and technology, law of democracy, gun control and same sex marriage. Journal of Criminal Justice and Popular Culture

The Journal of Criminal Justice and Popular Culture was created to serve the criminal justice/criminological community by publishing reviews of all types of popular culture artifacts and original essays pertaining to the intersection of popular culture and criminal justice. Reviews were intended to explore the depiction of criminal justice issues in the various forms of popular culture, providing criminal justice educators with suggestions for utilising these mediums as well as how these tools may be gainfully employed in research efforts.

Federal Communications Law Journal

The Federal Communications Law Journal is published by the Federal Communications Bar Association and the Indiana University School of Law, Bloomington. The Journal publishes three issues per year including articles, student notes, commentaries, and book reviews examining issues such as: telecommunications, the First Amendment, broadcasting, telephony, computers, intellectual property, communications and information policy making.

Cornell Law Review

The Cornell Law Review is a journal devoted to the study and analysis of contemporary legal issues and problems. The Review (formerly the Cornell Law Quarterly) has been published continuously since 1915 and is edited by second- and third-year law students chosen on the basis of their academic standing or by a writing competition. The Review is published 6 times a year by the Cornell Law School, New York. About seven years worth of issues are available online in full text. Subscription information is included and back copies are available from William S. Hein & Co.

US Supreme Court Decisions

A Findlaw site providing access to contemporary and historical decisions from the United States Supreme Court. FindLaw offers a free searchable database of Supreme Court decisions from 1893 to date. Decisions may be browsed by year and official United States Reports volume number and are searchable by citation, docket number, party name or key word.

Adoption and Child Welfare LawSite

The Adoption and Child Welfare LawSite is hosted by the National Center for Adoption Law and Policy at Capital University Law School in the United States. The aim of the Center is to improve child protection laws in the U.S. through research, advocacy and education. The site is a free online resource providing access to state and federal child welfare and adoption laws and cases. Information can be searched or browsed by state and document type including cases, statutes, articles and regulations. There is a page of links to related bodies and individual state court Websites.

World Law Bulletin

The World Law Bulletin is published monthly by the Directorate of Legal Research at the Law Library of Congress and is distributed to members of the United States Congress. The online version is made freely available on the Federation of American Scientists (FAS) website as part of their Project on Government Secrecy. Issues are available in full-text (PDF) from 2000 to March 2006. After this date the bulletin becomes the Global Legal Monitor which is described separately on Intute. The bulletin provides news items on foreign law developments including links to original sources.

Comparative Law

Online resource guide to researching comparative law written by Paul Norman who was senior reference librarian at the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, University of London from 1970 to 2006. The guide was published in 2006 on the Globalex website and made freely available by the Hauser Global Law School at the New York University School of Law. The guide has been updated in 2025 by Hester Swift who is Foreign and International Law Librarian at the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies.

A Description of the Structure of the Hellenic Republic, the Greek Legal System, and Legal Research

Online resource guide to researching Greek law written by Maria Panezi who is a Ph.D. candidate and a Nathanson Fellow at Osgoode Hall Law School. The guide was published in 2006 and updated in 2021 on the Globalex website and made freely available by the Hauser Global Law School at the New York University School of Law. The guide gives background information on Greece and an outline of the system of government covering the legislative, executive and judicial branches and including a list of links to government Websites.

Essential issues of the Peruvian legal system

Online guide to the Peruvian legal system written by Sergio Endress Gómez who is a tax lawyer and Professor of Taxation and Trial Taxation at the School of Law of the Universidad de Chile and Milagros Bustillos Pinto who is a partner at Peruvian law firm Hernández & Cía. Abogados. The guide was published in 2006, and updated in 2014, on the Globalex website and made freely available by the Hauser Global Law School Program at the New York University School of Law.
