The National Institute of Justice's (NIJ) International Center website is an online information resource that aims to "stimulate, facilitate, evaluate and disseminate" criminal justice research and information. The Center is a part of the US Department of Justice. The resources are aimed primarily at practitioners, researchers and policymakers whose professional interests lie in the globalization of crime. The site offers access to information about the Center and its aims, recent events at the Center, an international calendar of upcoming events and NIJ's involvement with the UN.

The website of the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) is the research and development arm of the United States Department of Justice. Its website covers the work of the institute, news, funding opportunities and publications. A section listing the programs currently being run by the Institute is included with links to the individual program sites. 

ILO Research Guide

An online research guide providing commentary, bibliographic references and Web links relating to the history, structure and work of the International Labour Organization, the international organization concerned with employment and working conditions and wider issues of social justice and human rights. The guide was compiled by Charlotte Bynum and is available on the Cornell Law Library website. The author gives an introduction to the ILO, its mission and organisation; with explanatory notes and sources covering conventions and recommendations and cases and reports.

Mexican Trademark and Copyright Law as it applies to E-Commerce

An online research guide focusing on industrial property, trademark and copyright laws relating to electronic commerce in Mexico. The guide, prepared by Jose-Juan Mendez, a local partner of Baker & McKenzie in Mexico City, provides commentary supplemented by a selection of links to sources available on the internet. The author describes trademark and copyright measures in Mexican law and outlines the risk of using trademarks and copyrights in e-commerce and the Internet.

Baldy Centre for Law and Social Policy

The Baldy Center for Law and Social Policy is based at the University of Buffalo Law School in New York State, USA. The Center supports interdisciplinary study of law, and services the research needs of socio-legal scholars. The Center also houses the editorial offices of the interdisciplinary journal, "Law and Policy". The site outlines research activities and programs conducted at the Center, providing information about faculty and staff, student information, notification of forthcoming events and publications.

AnimalLaw.com

An information resource site developed by the International Institute for Animal Law and the National Anti-Vivisection Society in the United States. The site publishes law-related information and provides access to publicly available legislative materials dealing with animals rights and welfare primarily in the US. Legal issues surrounding the use of animals in product testing, medical research and other laboratory situations are covered. AnimalLaw offers a facility to search laws by US state or at federal level, or by citation or bill number.

Researching US Treaties and Agreements

An online legal research guide compiled by Marci Hoffman, International and Foreign Law Librarian at UC Berkeley Law Library. The guide was published in the features section of LLRX.com in October 2005 and updates an earlier version which appeared in May 2001.The author provides commentary on web resources, with links, and details of relevant printed materials. The guide gives an introduction to the treaty-making process, looking briefly at international treaties and agreements, US treaties and agreements and their ratification and implementation.

United Nations Documentation: Research Guide: International Law

A research guide produced by the United Nations Dag Hammarskj¸ld Library. The guide covers the work of the United Nations in the field of international law. The section on courts and tribunals covers the International Court of Justice, International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea, the International Criminal Tribunals for Rwanda and for the Former Yugoslavia, the International Criminal Court and the UN Administrative Tribunal.

The guide was written by Monaliza Da Silva, International Legal Fellow at White & Case LLP in New York. The guide was published in 2015 (and updated in 2019) on the Globalex website and made freely available by the Hauser Global Law School Program at the New York University School of Law.

German business and commercial laws: guide to translations into English and select auxiliary sources

A bibliographic guide to business and commercial laws in the Federal Republic of Germany, listing English translations, research aids and sources. The guide was written by Dr. Sebastian Omlor who is Professor of Law and Director of the Institute for Comparative Law at the University of Marburg School of Law in Germany. The guide was published in 2005 (and updated in 2022) on the Globalex website and made freely available by the Hauser Global Law School Program at the New York University School of Law.
