Website of the Property Litigation Association (PLA), a London-based organisation which draws its membership from solicitors, legal executives and barristers engaged in property litigation. The website contains details of events and workshops, news items, and information about the work and membership of the PLA's various committees. The PLA provides a mediation facility and includes a selection of sample forms, guidance and a list of mediators on the website.

Garden Law

Website of Garden Law written by Richard Smithies who is a partner with Bearders Solicitors in West Yorkshire. The site provides guidance to the law relating to gardens. There are sections covering trees, roots, walls, boundaries, bonfires and garden burial. Each section provides guidance to the law and links to judgements and legislation. There is also a discussion forum on garden law, a page of links and recommended books. A search facility using Google is embedded in the site.

Boundary Problems Web Site

Website maintained by chartered surveyor Jon Maynard FRICS, who specialises in boundary disputes between property owners. Provides free guidance on the law relating to boundaries, rights of way and problems with neighbours. Advice given on the site includes suggestions on where you can go for help with solving boundary disputes, what the costs are likely to be, and how to avoid problems arising in the first place. The site includes a news section, a glossary of terms and links to other websites.

Leasehold Advisory Service

Independent service which provides free information about the law concerning residential leasehold property. The website includes guidance on topics including fire safety, service charges, building management, breach of a lease, lease extensions and the Leasehold Valuation Tribunal. It also has templates for letters to landlords, free e-learning resources and news updates.

South Australian Residential Tenancies Tribunal decisions

An AustLII database, providing free access to full-text decisions of the South Australian Residential Tenancies Tribunal from 1996 to 2014. The system also offers a comprehensive search facility and browsing by date and case name. AustLII, the Australasian Legal Information Institute has been developed by the University of Technology in Sydney to provide public access to primary legal materials. Materials contained in the database are selected and provided by the South Australian Residential Tenancies Tribunal.

Resource Management and Planning Appeal Tribunal of Tasmania Decisions

An AustLII database containing selected full-text HTML decisions from the Resource Management and Planning Appeal Tribunal of Tasmania from 1996 onwards supported by case name search facilities, alphabetical browse index, and list of recent cases. Data is selected and supplied by the Tribunal. AustLII, the Australasian Legal Information Institute is a collaborative public service developed by the University of Technology to provide free Internet access to legislation and cases for Australia.

Lands Tribunal of Hong Kong Judgments

A web database, forming part of the HKLII service, containing selected judgments of the Lands Tribunal of Hong Kong from 1971 onwards. Materials are in HTML format. Judgment title and text search options are provided with browsing lists by case name and year. The Hong Kong Legal Information Institute (HKLII) is a joint project to provide free access to the primary legal materials of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The project partners are the University of Hong Kong Faculty of Law and AUSTLII, the Australasian Legal Information Institute.

Tonga Land Court Decisions

A PacLII database containing decisions of the Tonga Land Court from 1999 onwards. Cases can be browsed by name or year, and there is a search facility. PacLII, the Pacific Islands Legal Information Institute, provides free access to legislation and cases for jurisdictions in the South Pacific. It is a joint initiative involving the University of the South Pacific and the Australasian Legal Information Institute.

Court of Restitution Appeals reports

This site provides access to full text law reports of the United States Court of Restitution Appeals, digitised and made freely available online by Harvard Law School Library. During World War Two the Nazis compelled many victims in occupied countries to sell properties and businesses. After the war the Western Allies agreed to restitute property taken and the United States, France and Britain each passed different legislation governing the restitution of property taken by Nazis.

Lands Tribunal for Scotland

Official website of the Lands Tribunal for Scotland an independent civil court dealing with disputes involving land or property such as valuations for rating on non-domestic premises, tenantsã rights to purchase their public sector houses, disputes relating to compensation for compulsory purchase of land and appeals against the Keeper of the Registers of Scotland. The site provides historical and background information on the Tribunal, its functions and the work of its staff. Links are given to related legislation and there is guidance for users of the Tribunal.
