Constitution of Libya

Electronic copy of the 2011 Constitution of Libya, amended up to 2012, made freely available online by the Comparative Constitutions Project at the University of Texas at Austin. A draft copy of the 2016 Constitution is also given on the site. This covers the form of the state and system of government, fundamental rights and freedoms, the constitutional court and local government.

Embassy of the Republic of Haiti in Washington DC

This is the official website of the Haitian Embassy in the United States. It provides access to basic factual information about the economy, business opportunities, culture and society of Haiti. It includes access to press releases from the Haitian government plus links to Haitian government Websites. The press releases contain information on elections, human rights and violence in the region. The Resources section includes some legal material, such as the 1987 Constitution (in Haitian Creole, French and English) and the Haitian electoral and adoption laws (in French).

Constitution of Syria

This site contains the full-text of the Constitution of the Syrian Arab Republic which is made freely available in English by the Comparative Constitutions Project at the University of Texas at Austin. Both the 2012 Constitution and the 2017 draft Constitution can be viewed in HTML with the 2017 draft also available in PDF.

Constitution of Slovenia

This site contains the full-text of the Slovenia Constitution which is made freely available in English by the Comparative Constitutions Project at the University of Texas at Austin. The Constitution was adopted in 1991 and includes amendments up to 2016. The document covers human rights and fundamental freedoms, economic and social relations, administration of the state, local government, public finance, constitutionality and legality and the Constitutional Court.

Constitution of South Africa

Full-text online version of the South African Constitution made freely available in English on the South African Government Information website. The Constitution was adopted in 1996 and covers co-operative government, parliament, the President and National Executive, the provinces, local government, the courts and administration of justice, public administration, security services and a Bill of Rights. The site includes amendments to the Constitution and links to earlier versions of the Constitution.

Electronic copy of the 1992 Constitution of Paraguay, amended up to 2011, and made freely available online by the Comparative Constitutions Project at the University of Texas at Austin. The Constitution can be viewed in PDF or HTML formats and has sections on the fundamental rights, duties and guarantees and on the political order of the Republic.

Constitution of Lebanon

This site contains the full-text of the Lebanon Constitution which is made freely available in English by International Constitutional Law (ICL) at the University of Bern in Switzerland. The Constitution was adopted in 1926 and this version includes the amendments made in 1990. The Constitution has chapters dealing with the state and its territories, the rights and duties of the citizen, legislative power, executive power, the Prime Minister, the Council of Ministers, the Supreme Council and finances.
