This site contains the full-text of the Lithuania Constitution made freely available in English by International Constitutional Law (ICL) at the University of Bern in Switzerland. The Constitution was adopted in 1992 and covers the individual and the state, society and the state, national economy and labour, Parliament, the President of the Republic, the government, the courts, the Constitutional Court, local government, finance and foreign affairs. Related constitutional documents are also made available on the site along with a link to the National Parliament (Seimas) and brief background notes to the Constitution.
