English translation of the Constitution of Lithuania Constitution, provided by the International Constitutional Law (ICL) initiative at the University of Bern in Switzerland. The Constitution was adopted in 1992 and covers the individual and the state, society and the state, national economy and labour, Parliament, the President of the Republic, the government, the courts, the Constitutional Court, local government, finance and foreign affairs. Other constitutional documents are also available on the site, with links to the National Parliament (Seimas), the Lithuanian government website and the Constitutional Court.
