CIELAP's mission is "to develop and advance proposals for the reform of environmental law and public policy." The site provides access to full text copies of articles in the CIELAP newsletter, details of how to become an associate member and a list of publications for sale. CIELAP conducts research in the following areas: environmental law and regulation; biological diversity and biotechnology; water quality and quantity; sustainable development and sustainability; hazardous and solid wastes and air quality, energy and climate change. Research in these areas can be downloaded in PDF along with citizens' guides, teacher' guides and fact sheets. There are also press releases, details of events and a page of related web links.
