Website of the Secretariat established by the United States Mexico Canada Agreement (USMCA) which is an updated version of the North American Free Trade Agreement of January 1 1994 (NAFTA). The Secretariat has sections focusing on the United States, Mexico and Canada. It provides administrative support and administration of the dispute settlement process. The USMCA and NAFTA can both be viewed in full on the site along with the rules of procedure, code of conduct and procedural forms. There are links to related organisations and a selection of FAQs.
Free guide to citing legal material, compiled by volunteers from Canadian universities and hosted on the CanLII website. The main focus is on Canadian cases, legislation, secondary sources and government publications, but there is also some information about foreign and international sources. The guide is in English, but a French version is planned.

There is also an introduction to the work of the Treaty Law Division of Canada. A list of Canadian treaties is presented, which can be searched and displayed by treaty type (bilateral, multilateral, and plurilateral) or by text words or subject matter. The entry for each treaty indicates the place and date of signature, the date of entry into force, parties, and subject matter.

Details of current legislation and the work of previous sessions are given. Debates and committee minutes are available from 1996 onwards and bills or acts from 1994 onwards . Other official publications on the site include committee reports and minutes of committee proceedings. There is a directory of current Members of both Houses. The About Parliament section includes historical and procedural information.
Website of the Law Commission of Canada, an independent federal agency set up in 1997 to advise Parliament on reforming the laws of Canada. The Commission lost its funding in 2006, but its website has been archived by Library and Archives Canada. Reports produced while the Commission was active are still available in the Resources section of the site, under the heading “Reading Room”. Information about the work of the Commission is also provided.
