Antarctic Treaty Secretariat

The Antarctic Treaty Secretariat is responsible for providing information about the Antarctic Treaty system and support for the annual Antarctic Treaty Consultative Meeting (ATCM). Its website includes the text of the Antarctic Treaty and its environmental protocol, details of parties to the treaty and information about the ATCM and other meetings, together with information relating to the Committee for Environmental Protection (CEP). The Information Exchange page includes a collection of reports.

Antarctic Treaty Database

Website of the Antarctic Treaty Database made freely available online by the Antarctic Treaty Secretariat in Buenos Aires. This searchable database provides access to the text of measures adopted by the Antarctic Treaty Consultative Meeting (ATCM) including all recommendations, measures, decisions and resolutions from 1961 onwards. Users can search or browse documents by meeting, category and topic. Categories include environmental protection, marine pollution, monuments, scientific cooperation and tourism. These categories can be broken down into more detailed topic headings.

Free platform for sharing academic research papers, including hundreds of thousands of law papers. Can be browsed by subject or searched. Registration, with no charge, is required to access full-text content; a premium version of the platform is available by subscription. The site was founded by Dr Richard Price of All Souls College, Oxford, in 2008. It is now a company based in San Francisco and Dr Price is the CEO.

Internet Law Treatise

Website of the Internet Law Treatise, a collaborative online project looking at the law relating to the internet. The project is no longer active, but the site remains available for historical purposes. The ILT initiative involved attorneys and law students and is hosted by the Electronic Frontier Foundation, a membership organisation concerned with the civil liberties issues surrounding technology.

Global Network Initiative

The Global Network Initiative (GNI) is a coalition of tech companies, human rights organisations, academics, investors and technology leaders whose purpose is to protect and advance freedom of expression and privacy in the technology sector. Its website sets out the 'GNI Principles' on protecting and promoting freedom of expression and privacy and has has guidance for companies on putting these principles into practice.

United Nations Audiovisual Library of International Law: Historic Archives

Website of the Historic Archives section of the United Nations Audiovisual Library of International Law. The Library is a free online multimedia resource of the United Nations Office of Legal Affairs. The Historic Archives collection focuses on key legal instruments covering a wide range of international law topics including criminal law, disarmament, environmental law, human rights, international economic law, law of outer space and the law of the sea.

United Nations Audiovisual Library of International Law: Lecture Series

Website of the Lecture Series section of the United Nations Audiovisual Library of International Law. The Library is a free online multimedia resource of the United Nations Office of Legal Affairs. The Lecture Series is a collection of video lectures given by given by leading international law scholars and practitioners. The lectures are arranged by subject including human rights, cultural heritage, development, international organisations, peace and security, courts and tribunals and the Arctic. A selection of related documents and profiles of the lecturers are also given on the site.

Legislation of the Northwest Territories

The website of the Department of Justice in the Canadian Northwest Territories provides consolidated primary and secondary legislation, updated monthly. Basic and advanced search facilities are available, or users can browse the legislation by title (under "Alphabetical Search"). The Northwest Territories Rules of Court and the Northwest Territories Gazette (2006 - ) can be found via the same web page. The website has an English and a French version and all the documents provided are bilingual.

Research guide to the legal system of the Peoples' Republic of Bangladesh

Online guide to the legal system and legal materials of Bangladesh written by Omar Sial who is a partner at law firm  Omar Sial & Associates and published in 2008 on the Globalex website. The guide was updated by  Mohammad Ershadul Karimand, Senior Lecturer in Law at the University of Malaya, in 2023. The guide presents background information on Bangladesh and an outline of the governmental and court systems.
