Description:
The Unified Court Records database (UCR) holds the public courts records of the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR), the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) and the International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals (IRMCT) which was set up to deal with residual functions of the tribunals eg. future trials of remaining fugitives, appeals for early release, protective orders for witnesses and safeguarding of confidential documents. The database contains legal documents relating to cases including indictments, motions, orders, decisions and judgements, evidence, transcripts and audiovisual recordings of hearings. These can be searched by title, accused, document type, date etc. and by keywords within the full text documents. A user guide is provided. Free registration is required to access the database.
