International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda
Legacy website of the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR) which was established by the United Nations Security Council in 1995 to prosecute those responsible for the genocide that took place in Rwanda during 1994. The ICTR closed in 2015. There is background information and a timeline to the genocide. Selected documents relating to each trial, including indictments, judgements and transcripts, are given in PDF.

Online guide to the international criminal courts of Yugoslavia, Rwanda and Sierra Leone compiled by Amy Burchfield who is Head of Access and Faculty Services at the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law Library and updated by Andrew Dorchak who is Head of Reference and Foreign/International Law Specialist at The Judge Ben C. Green Law Library at Case Western Reserve University's School of Law. The guide was published in 2005 and updated in 2017 on the Globalex website and made freely available by the Hauser Global Law School Program at the New York University School of Law.

International Legal Assistance Consortium
Website of the International Legal Assistance Consortium (ILAC), an umbrella organisation of bar associations, law societies, individuals and other associations of legal and human rights experts. ILAC is concerned with the rebuilding of legal systems in post conflict societies and the site has reports of work carried out in Afghanistan, Iraq, Sri Lanka, Liberia, East Timor, Haiti and Rwanda. There are also thematic reports and details of projects focusing on gender justice in post conflict societies.

Official Gazette of the Republic of Rwanda
The Official Gazette of the Republic of Rwanda is available free on the website of the Rwandan Ministry of Justice from 2004 onwards. It contains legislation and official orders in English, French and Kinyarwanda. Access is via hyperlinks to each individual issue - there is no search facility.

Website of the Rwandan judiciary, with information about the court system, court administration, ADR and online case filing. Covers the Supreme Court, Court of Appeal, High Court, commercial courts, intermediate courts and other courts. Provides the Rwanda Law Reports (in English and Kinyarwanda), unreported decisions (in Kinyarwanda), and cause lists (mostly in Kinyarwanda) for the Supreme Court, Court of Appeal, High Court, commercial courts and other courts. Unreported decisions can be accessed using the search facility for the Rwanda Law Reports.
