Queensland Law Society

Website of the Queensland Law Society (QLS) the organisation representing solicitors in Queensland, Australia. The site has information for QLS members, the general public, the media and students. Francis Forbes Society for Australian Legal History

The aim of the Francis Forbes Society for Australian Legal History is to "encourage the study and advance the knowledge of the history of Australian law". The Society is named after Sir Francis Forbes who was the first chief justice of New South Wales between 1823 and 1837. Bar Association of the District of Columbia

The Bar Association of the District of Columbia (BADC) is a voluntary bar association representing members of the Washington DC legal community. The site has information about the BADC including contact details for officers, sections and committees. Washington State Bar Association

The Washington State Bar Association (WSBA) is an administrative arm of the Washington State Supreme Court regulating and representing the legal profession in Washington. The site has information about the WSBA including contact details for the different departments and the activities of the various committees and sections.There is a member's directory, formal and informal ethics opinions and press releases detailing WSBA news back to 2000.
