American Agricultural Law Association

Website of the American Agricultural Law Association (AALA)which describes itself as "the only national professional organization focusing on the legal needs of the agricultural community." The site has organisational information, details of conferences and events and a selection of resource links to other agricultural law websites. A link is given to an online bibliography compiled by the AALA and hosted on the National Center for Agricultural Law at the University of Arkansas School of Law website.

Victorian Bar

Website of the Victorian Bar a professional association representing barristers practising in Victoria, Australia. The site has information about the Bar including a copy of the constitution, practice rules and regulations, annual reports and details of the Bar's Alternative Dispute Resolution scheme. An online membership directory provides contact details of barristers and chambers. Full text copies of the Bar newsletter, In Brief, are made freely available online in PDF format containing articles, book reviews and news from the Bar.

Queensland Law Society

Website of the Queensland Law Society (QLS) the organisation representing solicitors in Queensland, Australia. The site has information for QLS members, the general public, the media and students. There is background information about the QLS including its history, structure and a copy of their latest annual report made available in PDF format. The site has advice on making a complaint against a solicitor, press releases, a link to the QLS rules and organisational information.

Francis Forbes Society for Australian Legal History

The aim of the Francis Forbes Society for Australian Legal History is to "encourage the study and advance the knowledge of the history of Australian law". The Society is named after Sir Francis Forbes who was the first chief justice of New South Wales between 1823 and 1837. The website includes information about the Forbes Society, its council members and annual lectures. The Society's newsletter the Forbes Flyer is made freely available online in PDF. This provides details about events and activities of the Forbes Society and articles of legal and historical interest.

Wyoming State Bar

Website of the Wyoming State Bar the professional organisation regulating the practice of law in Wyoming in the United States. The site provides information aimed at members and the public. There is a directory of members, a selection of FAQ's on how to make a complaint against a lawyer and links to Wyoming legislation. Press releases are available on the site dealing with Bar news and disciplinary issues. There is also a link to the full-text Wyoming Court Rules, a selection of downloadable forms and links to other Wyoming legal sites.

IP Justice

IP Justice (IPJ) is a California based non-profit organisation that "promotes balanced intellectual property law". The website provides background information about the organisation including the 'Principles of IP Justice', profiles of directors and press releases. IPJ's publications are made freely available on the site in full-text in a range of formats.

Bar Association of the District of Columbia

The Bar Association of the District of Columbia (BADC) is a voluntary bar association representing members of the Washington DC legal community. The site has information about the BADC including contact details for officers, sections and committees. News from the BADC is made available in their free online newsletter, Hearsay which is presented in PDF format on the site. There are also details of the BADC's campaign, Operation Crackdown that provides free legal representation to community groups to help them fight the problems of drug related crime.

West Virginia State Bar

Website of the West Virginia State Bar the organisation representing members of the legal profession in the US state of West Virginia. The site has information about the activities of the State Bar along with contact details of the Board of Governors and members of the various committees. There is a membership directory and information relating to disciplinary procedures and rules of professional conduct. Access is also provided to full-text legal ethics opinions. Services for the public include brief answers to legal problems and links to West Virginia legal resources.

Scottish Council of Law Reporting

Website of the Scottish Council of Law Reporting, a non-profit company made up of Scottish judges, advocates and solicitors, whose purpose is to manage the publication of its Session Cases law report series and other materials. The site gives subscription information for the Sessions Cases which can be accessed online and in hard copy. There is a comprehensive collection of legal links focussing on the law in Scotland and organised by subject.
