The website of the Swedish Network of Asylum and Refugee Support Groups (FARR). FARR is a voluntary national membership organisation which gives legal advice to asylum seekers and seeks to ensure that the Swedish authoritiesabide by national and international refugee law when deciding upon asylum applications. The site provides access to FARR's quarterly newsletter "Artikel 14" (Swedish only), together with asylum news, contact details for local FARR refugee and asylum seeker support groups, and advice for refugees and asylum seekers on Swedish asylum procedure and policies.

Founded in 1988 and based in St. Francisco, USA, Global Exchange is a 'non-profit research, education, and action' organisation, 'dedicated to promoting environmental, political, and social justice around the world'. Its colourful website offers information and news about the organisation's activities, including its ongoing Global Exchange campaigns on issues in the USA and various third world countries (especially in South America).

Environmental Justice Foundation

The Environmental Justice Foundation is an international organisation dedicated to training and supporting local communities and organisations in the developing world, helping them to bring environmental injustice to national and international attention. The foundation is a wholly independent non-profit organisation based in the UK, with no political affiliations. The site contains reports, articles and training manuals which can be downloaded.

International Council for Commercial Arbitration

Website of the International Council for Commercial Arbitration (ICCA), an international NGO concerned with the promotion of arbitration, conciliation and other methods of resolving international commercial disputes. The ICCA contributes to preparation of the Arbitration Rules of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law, the UNCITRAL Conciliation Rules, and the UNCITRAL Model Law on International Commercial Arbitration. The main publication of the ICCA is the Yearbook Commercial Arbitration; contents lists and indexes from the Yearbook are available on the website.

Due Process of Law Foundation

The Due Process of Law Foundation (DPLF) is a private, non-profit organisation which aims to promote "the reform and modernization of Latin America's national justice systems to ensure that the rule of law and respect for human rights are the hallmarks of justice systems throughout the Americas." DPLF's activities include research and training focusing on international justice, judicial accountability and transparency and equal access to justice. Center for Effective Public Policy

The Center for Effective Public Policy (CEPP), an American non-profit organisation, works with local, state and tribal jurisdictions in the US to improve their criminal justice systems and enhance the well-being of communities. Its website provides information about CEPP projects. It includes a collection of guides, training curriculums, frameworks and other tools and resources focusing on subjects such as collaborative justice, evidence-based decision-making, parole and probation, women in the justice system, racial equity and community engagement.

Global Policy Forum

Website of the Global Policy Forum (GPF), an independent policy watchdog that monitors the work of the UN and scrutinizes global policymaking. The site provides analyses of the work of the UN Security Council and social and economic policy at the UN. It also covers globalisation, nations and states, NGOs, UN finance, international justice, Iraq, UN reform, world economic crisis, food and hunger, natural resources and global taxes. Each section breaks down into a number of sub-categories providing access to a extensive collection of articles, reports, news items, statistics and links.

Trust Law Committee

The Trust Law Committee is an organisation of academics and practitioners devoted to improving the law of trusts in England and Wales. The organisation was set up in 1994 and its website is hosted at King's College, London. The site gives the names of members of the Committee and outlines the process that has to be undergone to improve the law. Consultation papers and reports published by the Committee can be freely downloaded from the site.

National Association of Women and the Law

Website of the National Association of Women and the Law (NAWL) a non-profit organisation established in 1974 to promote equality for women in Canada. The site has background information about the organisation, its aims and events. Research reports, briefs, open letters to government and press releases are provided in full text (PDF) on the site. These are focused on key issues of concern including women and the family, work and equality, social and economic rights, violence against women, immigration and refugee law and women's human rights.

Zimbabwe Environmental Law Association

Website of the Zimbabwe Environmental Law Association (ZELA) a non-governmental organisation promoting environmental justice in Zimbabwe. The site gives information on the programmes of work ZELA is engaged on. These include environmental law reform and education, urban environment, transboundary natural resources management, land and communities and environmental legal compliance.
