International Journal of Not-for-Profit Law

The International Journal of Not-for-Profit Law (IJNL) is published quarterly by the International Center for Not-For-Profit Law (ICNL). The IJNL was first published in 1998 and all issues are available free on its website. The journal is aimed at lawyers, scholars, donors, and government officials focusing on the legal aspects of non-governmental organisations in different parts of the world.

Unbound: Harvard Journal of the Legal Left

Unbound is a freely available online journal published by students and professors at Harvard Law School. The journal is provided in full-text and is described as being a place for "left legal intellectual discussion". There are feature articles and book reviews with subjects such as the role of social justice in US legal education and the concepts of 'right' and 'left' in international law covered in the first issue. Articles can be viewed in PDF and the site also carries details of the editorial board and submission guidelines.

Journal of International Human Rights

Website of the Journal of International Human Rights (JIHR), an interdisciplinary journal covering human rights issues and the international law of human rights. The journal has Spring, Summer and Fall issues each year, published by the School of Law at Northwestern University in the United States. Each issue is available free on the site, from volume 1 onwards. The website also gives details of symposia and other events, plus links to human rights resources on the internet.

Utrecht Law Review

The Utrecht Law Review is an open-access peer-reviewed journal published by the Law Faculty at Utrecht University in the Netherlands. The journal publishes cross-border legal research, covering private law, criminal law, constitutional and administrative law, European and public international law.

East Timor Law Journal

The East Timor Law Journal (ETLJ) published articles, East Timorese legislation and court decisions. The Journal started in 2004 and nothing new has been published since 2011. Legal materials published by ETLJ include Indonesian legislation relating to East Timor, laws of the United Nations Transitional Administration in East Timor (UNTAET) and laws of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste enacted since independence in 2002.

Nuclear Law Bulletin

The Nuclear Law Bulletin, published by the Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA), is an international journal covering developments in nuclear law. The Bulletin is published twice yearly in English and French and the online version forms part of the NEA's site. The Bulletin comprises a range of information relating to nuclear law including articles, case law, and national and international legislative and regulatory activities for "almost 60 countries around the world". Apart from the three most recent issues the Bulletin can be viewed in full text on the site in English and French.

Legal Journal on Burma

The Legal Journal on Burma (LawKa Pala) is published by the Burma Lawyers' Council (BLC), an independent organisation of lawyers and legal academics promoting human rights and democracy in Burma. The journal contains feature articles, commentaries and reviews focused on the legal and political issues in Burma and is available online back to 1997, in pdf format. .

Energy Law Journal

The Energy Law Journal is a legal journal published by the Energy Bar Association (EBA), an international not-for profit association of energy law practitioners and professionals. The journal aims to provide a forum for debate and research into all aspects of energy law and the energy industries. Contributors to the journal include practitioners, academics and federal judges. The journal is published twice a year and can be viewed online back to 1980. There are articles, committee reports, book reviews and case commentaries.

Review of Law and Economics

The Review of Law and Economics is an electronic legal journal published in cooperation with the European Association of Law and Economics (EALE) and the Berkeley Electronic Press (bepress) and made available on the bepress website. The journal publishes articles on "theoretical and empirical interdisciplinary research in law and economics-related subjects". Article summaries are provided in HTML and include the date the article was submitted and a suggested citation. Full-text articles are available in PDF to users whose institutions subscribe to the titles.

New Zealand Legal Information Institute

The New Zealand Legal Information Institute (NZLII) is a joint project of the University of Otago, the Victoria University of Wellington and the Australasian Legal Information Institute (AustLII). It provides free access to decisions of New Zealand courts and tribunals, starting at various dates in the 1990s and 2000s; New Zealand acts in force (all dates); selected articles from six legal journals, the New Zealand Treaty Series (1944 - ); and publications of the New Zealand Law Commission. The content can be browsed or searched.
