Travel Law Quarterly

Website of Travel Law Quarterly (TLQ) which is published by the Leisure Industries Section of the International Bar Association. TLQ is aimed at travel industry professionals, lawyers and students and covers topics such as “travel agency, tour operations, cruise law, air law, timeshare, hotel law as well as the regulation and licensing of the travel industry”. The full journal is available by subscription but TLQ Online, which provides additional content, is freely available on the website.

IALS Student Law Review

The IALS Student Law Review (ISLRev) is an electronic, peer-reviewed law journal made freely available on the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (IALS) website. The journal publishes scholarly articles focused on the areas of expertise at IALS and is run by PhD legal research students at the Institute. Articles can be searched or browsed and downloaded in full text from the site. Details of the Editorial Board and submission guidelines are also provided.

Digital Evidence and Electronic Signature Law Review

Open Access version of the journal Digital Evidence and Electronic Signature Law Review which is made freely available online on the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (IALS) website. The journal includes articles, case reports and book reviews focusing on digital evidence and electronic signatures from around the world. DEESLR is published annually and the complete archive from 2004 onwards is available to download from the site.

African Online Library on Law and Governance

Large free collection of African law materials, including constitutions, legislation, treaties, court decisions, journal articles and some books, together with a news service and networking opportunities. Registration is required, but there is no charge. The Library can be browsed by country, organisation, or journal title, and there are simple and advanced search facilities. For each country, there is a brief description of the legal system, a list of intergovernmental organisations in which it participates and other information.

Law Review Commons

The Law Review Commons website brings together law reviews and legal journals provided online by United States universities via bepress Digital Commons repositories. This open access collection contains both current and archive issues, which can be freely searched across a common platform. A simple keyword search engine is offered along with an advanced option allowing users to search within fields and by date range. Reviews are organised by title and subject. Individual articles can be browsed by legal topic, such as litigation, contracts, courts, criminal procedure or environmental law.

Cambridge Journal of International and Comparative Law

Open-access online journal published three times a year by the University of Cambridge. The Journal was first published in 2012; it covers international and comparative law and related domestic, regional, transnational and international legal regimes. An annual special issue is devoted to analysing the work of the UK Supreme Court in the previous judicial year. Contributions are subject to a double-blind peer review process. The CJICL website provides all issues of the journal free of charge, in pdf format. The site also has a blog and gives details of the Journal’s annual conference

De Jure

De Jure is an open access online general law journal published by the University of Pretoria, South Africa. The journal carries articles based on original research concerned with "the development and dissemination of cutting-edge legal research", as well as case law and book announcements. It has national and international scope. De Jure, edited by Professor Steve Cornelius, Faculty of Law, University of Pretoria, aims to support legal academics, practitioners and scholars in their legal research. Free and unrestricted access is available to volume 44 2011 onwards.

Socialist Lawyer

The journal of the London-based Haldane Society of Socialist Lawyers, an association independent of any political party. The journal is available the Society’s website from issue 42 (November 2005) onwards. It covers legal developments in the UK and overseas, with a focus on civil liberties and social justice. Past issues of the journal are provided in full, in pdf format, while access to the current issue is limited to selected articles.

Journal Online

Website of the Journal of the Law Society of Scotland, providing current articles and an archive of past issues going back to January 1999. The site also includes a blog, a discussion form and information about events.
