Land Registration Tribunal
This part of the GOV.uk website provides access to the Land Registration Tribunal, which is the Land Registration division of the Property Chamber (First-tier Tribunal). The Tribunal was set up in 2013 to deal with disputes concerning the Land Registry. The webpage has guidance on applying to the Tribunal, attending a hearing, links to relevant legislation and to the Decisions Database which holds all the decisions of the Land Registration Tribunal from 1 June 2015 onwards.
Zimbabwe Women Lawyers Association
The Zimbabwe Women Lawyers Association (ZWLA) is a non-profit making organisation which champions the rights of women and children. The Association provides free legal aid, legal education and advocacy and is “working towards creating frameworks that allow for an environment where women and children’s rights are enjoyed and protected.” The site gives information on the ZWLA and its personnel and provides a selection of articles and conference bulletins which can be freely downloaded.
Centre for Applied Legal Research
Website of the Centre for Applied Legal Research in Zimbabwe, an independent research institute working with governments and civil society organisations. The site gives details of projects the Centre is involved with covering the areas of agriculture and agribusiness, trade and investment, environment and natural resources. Working papers, newsletters and press releases produced by the Centre are available to download from the site.
Judicial Service Commission Zimbabwe
Website of the Judicial Service Commission, the body responsible for administering the courts and judiciary in Zimbabwe. The site provides information on the various courts and their judges along with cause lists and a selection of High Court rulings. A copy of the Zimbabwe Constitution is given, legislation relating to the courts and judiciary and the judicial code of ethics.
Southern and Eastern African Regional Centre for Women’s Law
The Southern and Eastern African Regional Centre for Women’s Law (SEARCWL) is housed within the Faculty of Law at the University of Zimbabwe. It is engaged in training, teaching, research and publication in the area of women's law, socio-legal and human rights issues. Research papers, dissertations and theses produced by SEARCWL are available on the website in pdf format and details of its courses are provided. The E-Resources section provides e-journals, e-books and other material.
Malawi Legal Information Institute
The Malawi Legal Information Institute (MalawiLII) provides free online access to Malawian legal information. In particular MalawiLII offers full-text versions of legislation and judgments from the Malawi Supreme Court of Appeal, The High Court and the Industrial Relations Court. MalawiLII is a member of the Free Access to Law Movement (FALM), an international voluntary association of legal information institutes committed to providing free access to law.
Samoa Legal Information Institute
Website of the Samoa Legal Information Institute (SamLII), which was set up to provide free access to Samoan primary legal materials. Full-text judgments from the Supreme Court, Court of Appeal, High Court, Family Court and other courts are provided along with selected Samoan legislation and court rules. The site is administered by American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative and supported by the Australasian Legal Information Institute (AustLII).
Liberia Legal Information Institute
The Liberia Legal Information Institute (LiberLII) provides free access to Liberian primary legal materials. The site was established in 2011 and is administered by the Louis Arthur Grimes School of Law in Monrovia with technical support provided from the Australasian Legal Information Institute (AustLII). Resources available on the site include: full text versions of the 1847 and 1984 constitutions; Supreme Court decisions back to 1861; the Liberian Code of Laws Revised and a selection of resources from the James A. A. Pierre Judicial Institute.
Zimbabwe Legal Information Institute
Website of the Zimbabwe Legal Information Institute (ZimLII), which provides free online access to a range of Zimbabwean legal materials. Included on the site are full-text judgments from the Constitutional Court, Supreme Court, Harare High Court, Bulawayo High Court and the Labour Court. The Laws Of Zimbabwe are also given along with electronic versions of the University Of Zimbabwe Student Law Review Journal and the Midlands State University Law Review Journal.
