The European Civil Law website is compiled by Hendrik Goossens a Dutch solicitor practising in Asten in the Netherlands. The site is aimed at foreign practitioners providing information and guidance on the rules of private international law of the European Union. There is background information on the form the European Union takes, its members and institutions. Guidance and links to the full text of European rules on private international law and on the jurisdiction EU member state courts have regarding civil and commercial and family law matters.

Ukrainian Law Firms

Online version of the publication Ukrainian Law Firms: A Handbook for Foreign Clients. The website provides information about Ukrainian law and lawyers. There is an overview of the law in a range of practice areas including banking, commercial, criminal, family, human right, property and tax law. Profiles of leading law firms and practitioners in Ukraine are also available. Earlier versions of the Handbook can be viewed back to 2009.

British-Ukrainian Law Association

Webpages of the British-Ukrainian Law Association (BULA), which aims to foster professional relationships between lawyers in the United Kingdom and Ukraine and assist with the development of the legal profession in Ukraine through training, placements and exchange programmes. The site provides membership information and details of events.

Brexit Essentials: Navigating Unchartered Seas: A Practical Guide for Businesses

Online guide to the implications of the vote by Britain to leave the European Union. The briefing has been written by staff at law firm Slaughter and May and is aimed at their business clients. The guide looks at risk assessment and monitoring covering issues such as investment, cash flow, regulatory obligations and contracts. The guide also looks at the impact of Brexit across a number of practice areas including dispute resolution, tax, pensions, intellectual property, environment and data protection.

Romanian Chamber of Deputies

Website of the Chamber of Deputies of Romania (Camera Deputa ilor) which is the lower house of the Romanian parliament. There is an introduction to how the Chamber of Deputies works with information on the role of the various committees and groups, the Speaker and members and other parliamentary activities. There is a full text copy of the Romanian Constitution. These parts of the site can be viewed in Romanian, English and French. Other sections of the site including parliamentary debates, bill tracking and links to legislation can be viewed in Romanian only.

International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry

The Ukrainian International Commercial Arbitration Court (ICAC) is an independent arbitration body dealing with disputes arising in the field of international trade. The site provides the rules and statutes governing the ICAC and full text versions of international treaties- the Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards and the European Convention on International Commercial Arbitration. There are Ukrainian laws relating to international commercial arbitration some of which can be viewed in English.

Current Constitutional Developments in Latin America

Online article looking at constitutional law developments in Latin America written by Dante Figueroa who is a Senior Legal Information Analyst at the Law Library of Congress and an Adjunct Professor at the Georgetown University Law Center and Jonathan Arendtwho is a Senior Associate at Albagli Zaliasnik Law Firm. The guide was published in 2016 (and updated in 2021) on the Globalex Website and made freely available by the Hauser Global Law School Program at the New York University School of Law.
