The website provides limited information about the history and role of the Supreme Court, court procedure and the court building. The last page of the English section summarises what is available in Icelandic on the website; this includes judgments and details of current court business. Contact information can be found under the heading "Um Hæstarétt". The site also has a Danish section.

Scottish Council for International Arbitration

Web pages for an independent body promoting international arbitration and alternative dispute resolution facilities in Scotland. The site describes services for disputants with outline information on the Scottish legal system and tradition, emphasising Scotland's suitability as a venue for servicing and hearing disputes. A set of papers describing the handling of arbitration in Scotland, including a synopsis of the Scottish Arbitration Code 1999; Scotland and the UNCITRAL model law; and How the Scottish Courts Support the Arbitration Process are provided on the site in Word format.

Flyktinggruppernas och Asylkommittéernas Riksråd (FARR)

The website of the Swedish Network of Asylum and Refugee Support Groups (FARR). FARR is a voluntary national membership organisation which gives legal advice to asylum seekers and seeks to ensure that the Swedish authoritiesabide by national and international refugee law when deciding upon asylum applications. The site provides access to FARR's quarterly newsletter "Artikel 14" (Swedish only), together with asylum news, contact details for local FARR refugee and asylum seeker support groups, and advice for refugees and asylum seekers on Swedish asylum procedure and policies.

Vera Institute of Justice

The website of the Vera Institute of Justice is an online information resource offering information about the Institute's activities in the field of criminal justice. Its scope is international, though its head office is based in New York. The Institute works with government officials in New York as well as those in other countries and the site describes these working relationships. The site gives details of the many projects the Institute supports dealing with immigration and justice, youth justice, policing, sentencing and corrections and the judicial process.

Western Society of Criminology

The website for the Western Society of Criminology (WSC) is an online information resource detailing the Society's membership and scope. It aims to provide criminology scholars, students, government officials and practitioners with a forum for exchanging ideas and learning about new research in the field of criminology. The site gives information about its annual meeting, including a call for papers and participants. It provides full text access to the Society's newsletter, The Western Criminologist and to its offical journal, The Western Criminology Review.

Critical Criminology

Critical Criminology is an international peer-reviewed journal published by Springer on behalf of special interest sections of the American Society of Criminology and the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences. The journal offers postcolonial, anarchist, feminist, Marxist, cultural, integrative, peace-making, postmodernist, queer, indigenous, southern and green perspectives on criminology. It is partly open access.

Legal Technology Insider

Online newsletter looking at legal technology matters and news stories relating to internet, e-commerce and new media developments in the United Kingdom and internationally. The journal is published monthly by UK-based electronic publisher Charles Christian and presents items of news, comment and analysis supplemented by notes on cases of interest. Current issues are available on subscription only but archived issues from 1995 onwards can be freely downloaded from the site. Issues are presented in HTML and PDF.

Judicial Greffe

Website for the States of Jersey Judicial Greffe, the government department responsible for providing "administrative and secretarial services to the Island's Courts" and delivering information services relating to the Courts to the legal profession and public. The site presents outline information on the role and work of each section comprising the Judicial Greffe, including the: Appellate section, Family section, Probate section, Public registry, and Samedi section, supported by online HTML versions of guidance notes issued by the department. Staff contact lists are also included.

Index to 19th Century French Political Trials from the Labadie Collection

Index to a collection of more than 400 verbatim reports of trials against leaders of revolts, journalists and their editors, which took place in France during the 19th century. The reports are part of the Labadie Collection at the Special Collections Library of the University of Michigan and the index is published on the Library's website.
