LITIG

Website of LITIG (Legal IT Innovators Group) a not-for-profit group for senior professionals involved in all aspects of legal information technology within the UK. LITIG produce consultation papers and good practice guides relating to particular aspects of IT and these are made available in full-text as Word or PDF documents on the site. Topics currently include papers on e-billing , collaboration, electronic file management and email. The site also includes a list of members.

Upper Tribunal (Lands Chamber)

The Tribunal's jurisdiction includes rating appeals, land compensation, taxation appeals concerning land and blight notice references. The website has information about the Tribunal, including a link to a database of decisions and a list of appeals from the Lands Chamber to the Court of Appeal. An online guide explains the role of the Tribunal along with a copy of the Lands Tribunal Rules 1996 and the Practice Directions. Statutory forms are presented in PDF format.

Indian Law Resource Center

Website of the Indian Law Resource Center a non-profit law and advocacy organisation based in Washington, D.C and Montana. The site gives information about the staff and Board of Directors of the Center along with details of work being undertaken which focuses on indigenous peoples and covers issues such as sovereignty, environment, land rights, human rights and land reform.

Malaysian Courts

Website of the Malaysian Chief Registrar's Office the body with responsibility for the administration of the Malaysian courts. The site provides background information to the role of the Chief Registrar's Office and the court system in Malaysia. There is a detailed description of the Federal Court covering the constitution, history and status of the court. There are profiles of members of the judiciary and contact details for the different courts.

Education Law Unit

The Education Law Unit is an initiative of the Govan Law Centre, an independent, charitable community controlled law centre in Scotland. The Unit can provide legal representation in education law cases and the website has information on education law in Scotland for anyone who advises children with special educational needs or their parents. There are links to education law news stories and full text cases the Govan Law Centre has been involved with.

Law Online

Law Online is a portal to Singapore legal resources. The site is available in English and provides links to legal resources organised by subject including legislation, family law, intellectual property law as well as financial, property and business sites. There is a directory of links to Singapore legal firms along with other legal institutions, associations, government departments, journals and news sites. The site also provides access to sites providing sample forms and documents.

Duke Environmental Law and Policy Forum

Website of the Duke Environmental Law and Policy Forum a scholarly journal published twice yearly by the Duke University School of Law in the United States. The journal includes in-depth articles and notes focusing on legal and policy issues relating to the environment. The most recent issue focuses on the environmental challenges facing President Obama including international climate negotiations, energy consumption and US climate policy and carbon sequestration from coal. Articles can be viewed in PDF and issues are available online back to 1996.

Duke Law and Technology Review

Website of the Duke Law and Technology Review (DLTR) an online journal of the Duke University School of Law in the United States. The journal contains articles, referred to as iBriefs, which are published regularly throughout the year. The DLTR focuses on new legal developments relating to subjects such as e-commerce, cyber crime, media and communications, intellectual property and biotechnology. The iBriefs are ordered by date and subject category and are available back to 2006 as abstracts or in full-text HTML or PDF articles.

Cornell Death Penalty Project

The Cornell Death Penalty Project is based at the Cornell Law School in New York. The aim of the Project is to foster "scholarship related to the death penalty and its administration". The Project conducts research and sponsors a clinic enabling students to assist with the representation of capital defendants. The site includes details of clinic case studies and a list of articles on the death penalty written by faculty members. Links are given to the full articles which are made available on subscription services, Westlaw and Lexis Nexis.
