Website of the Legal Education Foundation, an independent grant-making body which provides funding to organisations undertaking charitable work focusing on legal education. The site has guidance on applying for grants, details of the funding programmes and information on projects that have been funded in the past.

Prisoners’ Advice Service

The Prisoners’ Advice Service (PAS) is a charity providing free legal advice regarding human and legal rights, conditions of imprisonment and the application of prison law and prison rules to adult prisoners in England and Wales. The site has information sheets covering a wide range of topics that affect prisoners, including health care, mandatory drug testing, transfers and confiscation orders along with articles and responses to consultations. There are also law guides aimed at women prisoners, and a number of self-help toolkits.

Just for Kids Law

Website of Just for Kids Law, a children’s rights charity that provides legal representation, advice, direct advocacy and support for children and young people. Just for Kids Law also campaigns for the promotion of children’s legal rights and the website has information about their work on school exclusion, youth justice, housing and social care. The charity has been involved with cases that have brought about changes in the law dealing with criminal records, joint enterprise and immigration. The site includes news items and a blog.

Supreme Administrative Court

Official website of the Supreme Administrative Court of the Czech Republic. The court hears appeals from the decisions of regional courts, as well as dealing with specific areas of law, including election matters and issues involving political parties and movements. A selection of judgments can be viewed in Czech. The site also has information about the court and its current and past judges, key legislation relevant to the work of the court, and a procedural guide. The site can be viewed in Czech, English and German.

The website of Epravo, a Czech legal publisher, provides a wide range of Czech legal material, including news, legislation, cases, and articles on various areas of law. The site is available in Czech only.

Parliament of the Czech Republic, Senate

Official website of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic. The site provides information about the senate and senators along with a  copy of the Czech Constitution in English. Details of plenary sessions and the bills, international treaties, European legislation and petitions being debated by the Senate can be viewed on the site in Czech only. The site is available in Czech and English.

Māori and Indigenous Governance Centre

Website of the Māori and Indigenous Governance Centre, a research group within the Faculty of Law at the University of Waikato. The aim of the Centre is to improve governance through research, training and collaboration. A selection of recent publications can be freely downloaded from the site, and other reports are available to purchase. Recent reports have looked at Māori economic performance and ethical issues relating to biobanking and genomic research.

Maori Legal Archive

The Maori Legal Archive is a collection of digitised documents made freely available by the Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand. The aim of the collection is to provide an insight into the interaction between the Māori people and the colonial legal system of nineteenth century New Zealand. The documents, which date back to the nineteenth century, are grouped by category and include Māori-language translations of Acts and Bills, speeches of Māori members of Parliament, land deeds, petitions and evidence submitted by Māori to various commissions of inquiry and tribunals.
