Cloud Legal Project

The Cloud Legal Project (CLP) is an initiative of the Centre for Commercial Law Studies at Queen Mary University of London. The project undertakes research in the areas of law and regulation of cloud computing services. The website makes available general information about the project as well as information on areas of current research, research papers and consultation responses. The majority of research papers are made available via links to the SSRN website. A news section gives updates on recent activities of the project.

State Attorney-General of Sabah

Website of the State Attorney-General of Sabah in Malaysia who is legal advisor to the state government. There is information on the role and functions of the State Attorney-General  and a profile of the current office holder (in Malay). Sabah Lawnet is the section of the site which provides access to Sabah legislation including the state constitution, full text state laws, subsidiary legislation and local authority bylaws.

Monegasque Cooperation for Development

This site provides information on Monaco’s Department of International Cooperation and the principality’s international development policy. Details of flagship projects are given and there is a searchable map showing where project assistance is targeted. Newsletters, occasional publications and a selection of links are also given. The site can be viewed in English and French.

Thematic network on Arctic law

The thematic network on Arctic law is one of the specialist networks of the University of the Arctic (UArctic). UArtic’s members are institutions and organisations with an interest in higher education and research in the Circumpolar North. Its thematic networks aim to foster issues-based cooperation on topical Arctic issues. The network on Arctic law pages contain information on their current, planned and past activities. Past activities include links to annual issues of Current developments in arctic law.

United States treaties and international agreements

Law Library of Congress website providing a digitised version of United States Treaties and Other International Agreements, compiled by Charles I. Bevans. Volumes 1-4 cover multilateral treaties between 1776-1949. Volumes 5-12 include the bilateral agreements for the same period, arranged alphabetically by country. Volume 13 is a general index. Each volume is available to download as a single pdf, or as individual pdfs for each treaty, which makes it convenient to browse.

Verfassungsblog - on matters constitutional

Verfassungsblog - on matters constitutional was founded in 2009 by legal journalist and writer Maximilian Steinbeis. Blog posts provide topical comment and analysis on issues of constitutional law and policy in Germany, Europe and beyond. The majority of posts are written in English or German; a regular editorial is provided in both languages. Posts are written by a wide range of academic contributors and are aimed at the general public.  A basic search function is available.

Illinois Courts

Official website of the courts of the US state of Illinois with sections covering the work of the supreme court, appellate courts and circuit courts. There are full text opinions of the supreme court back to 1996, details of justices, committees and commissions as well as policies, standards and rules. Opinions, rules and details of justices are also given for the appellate courts. Annual reports and caseload statistics are given for all courts. Information relating to the Illinois Judicial College and state law schools is also given.

Social Welfare Updates

Blog posts and news items on areas of law covered by barristers at Garden Court Chambers. Updates are given on housing, mental health, capacity, adult social care, children, education, Court of Protection, migration and welfare benefits. Most of the updates relate to recent cases providing a digest and commentary on the issues.
