Guam Bar Association

Website of the Guam Bar Association- the organisation with responsibility for regulating the practice of law in Guam. The site gives details of officers and committees of the Bar and there is a searchable directory of members and lawyer referral service. Rules and by-laws of the Guam Bar can be viewed in full on the site along with links to other Guam legal websites.

Guam Legislature

Official website of the Guam Legislature. Guam is a Pacific Island which forms an unincorporated territory of the United States. The site provides details of standing committees, a legislative calendar and contact details for members of the Guam Senate. Access is given to Guam public laws which can be viewed in HTML or as zipped Word files. Laws are available from the 24th Guam Legislature (1997) onwards although not all are available in full. Bills are also available on the site along with legislative and executive resolutions.

Government of Grenada

Official website of the government of Grenada. The site provides news items detailing the recent activities of the Grenadian government and links to government ministries and departments that have websites. These currently include the Prime Minister's office and the ministries of Agriculture, Finance and Tourism.

Constitution of Grenada

Electronic version of the Grenada Constitution of 1973 made freely available on the Political Database of the Americas at Georgetown University in the United States. The Constitution is provided in full-text and has sections covering fundamental rights and freedoms, the role of the Governor-General, parliament and the executive. There are also chapters dealing with finance, public services, citizenship and the judiciary.

Office of the Compiler of Laws

Website of the Office of the Compiler of Laws in Guam. Guam is a Pacific Island which forms an unincorporated territory of the United States. The Compiler of Laws is a division of the Attorney General's Office and the site is currently under development. It aims to provide free access to Guam statutes, laws, court decisions, agency rules and regulations, Executive Orders issued by the Governor, and opinions of the Attorney General. Currently available on the site is a full-text copy of the Guam Code Annotated and full-text (PDF) opinions of the Supreme Court from 1996 onwards.

Decisions of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka

A CommonLII database containing judgments of the Sri Lankan Supreme Court reported in the Sri Lanka Law Reports from 1979-2000. The site has decisions dating from 1878 through to 1005. Decisions can be browsed alphabetically or by date. The system also offers a comprehensive search facility, case name search and help page. Full text decisions are presented in HTML. The data has been made available by LAWNET a project established by the Sri Lankan Ministry of Justice.

Introduction to the Greek Legal System

An introduction to the Greek legal system written by Dimitrios Ph. Christodoulou and made freely available on the JURIST Website. The article provides an outline of various aspects of Greek law covering sources of law, the Constitution and the distinction between public and private law. Different aspects of the civil code are summarised including areas dealing with the law of obligations, property law, family law and inheritance law. The author also looks at the commercial code and the laws governing industrial property, companies, bankruptcy, antitrust and banking.

The Utrecht Law Review is an open-access peer-reviewed journal published by the Law Faculty at Utrecht University in the Netherlands. The journal publishes cross-border legal research, covering private law, criminal law, constitutional and administrative law, European and public international law.
