United States Statutes at Large

Library of Congress web service providing a digital version of early volumes of the US Statutes at Large, the official source for the laws and resolutions passed by Congress which began publication in 1845. Page images from the original published text are presented on the web as part of the American Memory, Library of Congress "Century of Lawmaking for a New Nation" collection, containing US Congressional documents and debates. All public and private law enacted by the Congress appeared in Statutes at Large in date of passage order.

WIPO administered treaties

Section of the official World Intellectual Property Organisation website, publishing treaties and conventions administered by the Organisation, including the convention establishing WIPO, WIPO copyright treaty, Paris Convention, Berne Convention, Rome Convention, Madrid Agreement and Locarno Agreement. The collection is organised into three groups including intellectual property protection treaties, global protection system treaties and classification treaties which create the classification systems that organise information relating to inventions, trademarks and industrial designs etc.

Washington Post Supreme Court

Supreme Court pages of the Washington Post online newspaper. The service provides summaries and stories of cases before the US Supreme Court from the current term. Background stories and news items are also featured on this page. Key cases for the current term are listed by subject area. There are also brief biographical details and links to Washington Post stories for each Supreme Court Justice provided on the site. Some of the content requires free registration before it can be viewed on the site.

Computers and Law

Computers and Law is the official journal of the Society of Computers and Law and reflects the Society's aims of encouraging and developing information technology for lawyers and information technology related law. The journal is published bi-monthly and can be accessed on the Society's website. Full text is available to members only, but contents of most issues are available online. The site includes information on SCL membership; contacts for contributing articles; and advertising rates in the journal.

De Rebus

Website of De Rebus, the online version of the official monthly journal of the Law Society of South Africa. The journal covers a broad range of subjects of interest to the legal profession, including tax matters, labour and family law, civil procedure and third-party matters. Monthly sections are included analysing constitutional cases and new legislation, and new developments in the legal profession. Issues of De Rebus are made freely available on the site in full-text back to 1998.

Institute of Air and Space Law

Website developed by the Institute of Air and Space Law (based at McGill University, Quebec, Canada) providing extensive links to air and aviation law and space law resources on the internet. The site contains links to primary materials such as international conventions and related protocols on air and aviation law and space law. Public and private international law conventions are included. The full-text of these conventions are offered in English or French. The site also provides a table which shows the status of individual countries with regard to international air law instruments.

Human Rights Law Centre

Website of the Human Rights Law Centre at the School of Law, University of Nottingham. "The aim of the Centre is to facilitate teaching and research on human rights issues". The site includes an overview of the Centre and its members, details of research and publications emanating from the Centre and a list of conferences, workshops and courses organised by the Centre.

Oceans and Law of the Sea

Internet site publishing Law of Sea resources and related links developed by the Division for Ocean Affairs and the Law of the Sea at the UN Office of Legal Affairs. The site presents unedited advanced texts and official reports and resolutions of the Secretary-General; the full-text and an overview of UNCLOS (the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea) and related agreements with status information on ratifications and accessions. There is organisational information on the Division, information on the settlement of disputes and links to bodies established by the Convention.

Sénat: Liens

The Links ('Liens') page on the website of the French Senate offers links to French legislation, the courts of France and jurisprudence, French local authorities, European law, political parties represented in the Senate, and international institutions. Among the legislation links are the full-text of the Constitution, the Journal Officiel and the consolidated texts of major legislation. The courts links include the Cour de Cassation, le Conseil d'Etat and the Cour des Comptes.
