HEUNI: European Institute for Crime Prevention and Control

The website of the European Institute for Crime Prevention and Control (HEUNI), is an online information resource that aims to provide information on crime prevention and criminal justice to European countries. The Institute, located in Helsinki, was formed through an Agreement between the United Nations and Finland in 1981 and forms part of the United Nations Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice Programme network. The website provides a list of HEUNI publications arising from its research in the field, many of which can be can be accessed in full-text.

German Business Law

This site is produced by Joachim Rudo, a Berlin based attorney who has compiled a selection of English language resource guides relating to different areas of German law. This page focuses on German business law and includes commentary on German corporate law, antitrust law and competition law, distribution systems in Germany, intellectual property rights, insolvency law, employment law and social security in Germany. There are links to German legislation, courts and governmental websites.

ILO Research Guide

An online research guide providing commentary, bibliographic references and Web links relating to the history, structure and work of the International Labour Organization, the international organization concerned with employment and working conditions and wider issues of social justice and human rights. The guide was compiled by Charlotte Bynum and is available on the Cornell Law Library website. The author gives an introduction to the ILO, its mission and organisation; with explanatory notes and sources covering conventions and recommendations and cases and reports.

Baldy Centre for Law and Social Policy

The Baldy Center for Law and Social Policy is based at the University of Buffalo Law School in New York State, USA. The Center supports interdisciplinary study of law, and services the research needs of socio-legal scholars. The Center also houses the editorial offices of the interdisciplinary journal, "Law and Policy". The site outlines research activities and programs conducted at the Center, providing information about faculty and staff, student information, notification of forthcoming events and publications.

An information resource site developed by the International Institute for Animal Law and the National Anti-Vivisection Society in the United States. The site publishes law-related information and provides access to publicly available legislative materials dealing with animals rights and welfare primarily in the US. Legal issues surrounding the use of animals in product testing, medical research and other laboratory situations are covered. AnimalLaw offers a facility to search laws by US state or at federal level, or by citation or bill number.

Courtserve Legal Information Centre

The Courtserve Legal Information Centre is a website of Courtel Communications Limited who provide a number of subscription services aimed at legal practitioners including digital delivery of court lists and legal news. A selection of free services can be accessed on the Courtservice site. These include court lists from the Crown Courts, the Royal Courts of Justice, selected County Courts and Employment Tribunal lists. These require free registration. A Directory of Chambers, a Crown Court Directory and a County Court Directory are available on the site.

Government of the Republic of Bulgaria

This is the official website of the Bulgarian government. It provides links to the home pages of the main government departments including health, the economy and foreign policy. It also enables access to recent government documents, official reports, legislation and budgets covering all aspects of economic, political and social policy, including relations with the European Union. All information is offered in English or Bulgarian.

Criminal Justice Matters

Criminal Justice Matters is a journal which aims to provide "information and informed opinion" on topical issues of interest relating to criminal justice. The journal is produced quarterly by ISTD: The Centre for Crime and Justice Studies, and published by Routledge. The Centre is a registered charity, which claims to be a non-partisan, non-campaigning body. This section is part of the Centre's site which is hosted on the King's College London server. Each issue explores a single theme in the field of criminology.
