Trade and Related Agreements Database

Database containing the texts of trade and related agreements, maintained by the US Department of Commerce's Trade Compliance Center (TCC). The database aims to give free public access to agreements in force between the US and its trading partners dealing with manufactured products and services. Agreements can be searched or browsed and viewed by type- intellectual property rights agreements, WTO agreements, free trade agreements and bilateral investment agreements. There is also guidance to the different types of agreement.

Texas Courts Online

Official website offering free access to a range of judicial and court materials and relevant internet links for the US State of Texas. There is information and documentation published about and by state courts, agencies and committees covering the structure and jurisdiction of the courts, information on Texas judges and statistics. There is a directory of all courts in the state of Texas. Links are given to other Texas legal sites, related bodies and to searchable collections of cases for the Texas county and appellate courts.

Autorita Garante Della Concorrenza e Del Mercato

Internet site for the independent body established by the Italian government to help regulate the application of fair competition practice rules, and adjudicate in cases of corporate breaches and cases of misleading advertising. The site explains how the Authority works, describing the organisation, operational structure and scope of its activities. A collection of news releases posted on the site in reverse chronological order, carries notes of Authority reports and relevant Italian legislation.

World Factbook of Criminal Justice Systems

The World Factbook of Criminal Justice Systems is a collection of reports, organised alphabetically by country, containing information about the criminal justice system in operation in each country. The Bureau of Justice Statistics, US Department of Justice, has funded the factbook. Each narrative has been composed by an expert in the field. The factbook is aimed at giving scholars, researchers and criminal justice practitioners a better understanding of the various systems in operation in each country in an attempt to help them in their work, especially in the area of transnational crime.

International Association of Prosecutors

The website of the International Association of Prosecutors (IAP) is an online information resource that aims to stimulate international communication and cooperation amongst prosecutors. The Association, established in 1995, is non-governmental and non-political, and aims to lead the way in setting standards in the administration of criminal justice. The site includes information about the Association and its members. A section of the site gives the Association's latest annual report and a variety of documentation including minutes of meetings, standards and guidelines.

United Nations Asia and Far East Institute for the Prevention of Crime and the Treatment of Offenders

Website for the United Nations Asia and Far East Institute for the Prevention of Crime and the Treatment of Offenders (UNAFEI) an online information resource providing information about the Institute's aims and activities. UNAFEI is a United Nations regional institute formed by agreement between the UN and the government of Japan. The site includes information about UNAFEI's history, organisation, facilities and staff. It gives details of current projects, including lists of training events and international seminars.

Vatican: the Holy See

This is the official website of the Vatican. It provides information on the structure, function and current activities of the governing body of the city including details on the Library, museums and the Vatican Secret Archives. Also included are recent Vatican press releases and information on the legal system. There is a biography of the current pope, a diary of his activities and the full-text of recent papal messages, encyclicals and homilies.

Directory of Arbitration Links and Arbitration Resources Online

Online version of a resource directory listing sources relating to commercial arbitration in the context of private international law, freely presented on the International Council for Commercial Arbitration (ICCA) website. The Directory is organised in sections offering links to online resources such as: Treaties and Conventions; National Arbitration Laws; International, National and Regional Arbitral and ADR Institutions; Other Organisations, and Arbitration Resources Online. The Directory was originally compiled for print publication in the Yearbook Commercial Arbitration by Rosabel E.

Pacific Islands Legal Information Institute

The Pacific Islands Legal Information Institute (PacLII) provides free internet access to legislation and cases for jurisdictions in the South Pacific. Islands covered by the service include American Samoa, the Cook Islands, Fiji, Guam, Kiribati, the Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru, Niue, the Northern Mariana Islands, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Pitcairn, Samoa, the Solomon Islands, Tokelau, Tonga, Tuvalu, and Vanuatu. A site search form allows specific database selection and query with boolean functionality.

Government of Lesotho

This is the official website of the African kingdom of Lesotho. It provides information on the structure and function of government in the region and its recent activities. It includes access to the full text of the Constitution, lists of cabinet members and a directory of government websites including links to all the main departments and ministries. Also available are recent government press releases and political speeches.
