Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia

The official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia, available in Latvian, Russian and English. Site contains a variety of information and documentation pertaining to Latvia’s foreign and diplomatic policy such as immigration, citizenship, bilateral relations and consular missions. Provides English translations of all relevant legislation and documents. There is also a full-text English database of all bilateral and multilateral treaties to which Latvia is a signatory in the policy section of the website.

Latvijas Republikas Saeima

The official website of the Parliament of the Republic of Latvia. Available for the most part in Latvian and English, however most of the parliamentary documents available from the site are in Latvian only. Contains a wealth of information about the structure, operation and processes of the Parliament, from real time work schedules to member profiles, as well as information about how the Latvian legislative processes work. Includes the full text, in English, of the constitution, and laws as passed in Latvian only.

Decisis

Decisis consists of a blog and a fee-based online law reporting service covering the Irish Supreme Court, Court of Appeal and High Court from 2011 onwards. It is the successor to the cases blog, 'Stare decisis Hibernia', created by Mark Tottenham, an Irish barrister.

Jurislingue

Jurislingue is a multi-lingual legal glossary, still under development, provided by the Portuguese Attorney General’s Documentation and Comparative Law Office. It includes more than 1000 legal terms, the names of 157 institutions and the titles of 177 treaties. Seven languages are covered: Portuguese, French, English, German, Dutch, Spanish and Italian. For each term, the equivalents are given in some or all of the other languages. Full definitions are also provided for many of the terms, but these are mainly in Portuguese.

Portal Ibero-Americano de Justicia Electrónica

Portal to online resources relating to the justice systems of Spain, Portugal and Latin America, provided by the Conference of Ministers of Justice of Ibero-American Countries (COMJIB). The site gives details of the work being undertaken in the various jurisdictions dealing with access to justice, new technologies relating to the administration of justice, international legal cooperation, prison reform and gender equality. Links are given to relevant laws and the government departments undertaking the work. The site can be viewed in Spanish and Portuguese only.

Service Public fr: le Site Officiel de l’Administration Française

Service-Public fr is the official gateway to the French Civil Service for individual citizens and professionals. It aims to guide citizens on public services available in France at a national and local level. In so doing, it explains rights and responsibilities, and includes a glossary of administrative and legal terms. To aid browsing, the site offers themes (argent, famille, logement, etc.) and a detailed list of dossiers. The tab on justice, for example, offers an accessible and detailed overview of the French justice system.

Le blog droit administratif

This blog on French administrative law was started in 2005 and its topics include electoral law, the constitution, public enterprises and the death penalty. Regular authors include lawyers François Gilbert, Alexis Frank and Alexandre Ciaudo. Some of the more substantial contributions are under the heading “A retenir”. Posts can be displayed by date or topic/thread. Lists of recommended books and articles on administrative law are included. .

Tuvalu Primary Materials

Forming part of the PACLII database, this page provides Tuvaluan legislation, including the the 2008 Revised Edition of the Laws of Tuvalu; the Constitution of Tuvalu; cases from the Tuvalu High Court and Court of Appeal; and other legal materials from Tuvalu. The content may be searched or browsed.

Tuvalu legislation

Collection of full text laws of Tuvalu, made freely available in electronic format. This website contains English versions of the Official Revised Edition of the Laws of Tuvalu, in force as at 31st December 2008. The revision was undertaken by Laws Consolidated Inc, on behalf of the Tuvalu government. The legislation is arranged in the form of an index with the main laws in alphabetical order, and any Subordinate Legislation nested beneath the parent law. The legislation is also presented alphabetically by categories, and the complete Statute Book can be printed from the index view.
