There is information on the history of the Middle Temple, banqueting facilities, library and archive services and a diary of events.

Chronological Tables of Local and of Private and Personal Acts

Official website providing free access to online tables chronologically listing Private and Personal Acts from 1539 to 2007 and Local Acts from 1797 to 2007 passed by the Parliaments at Westminster. The tables have been produced by the Law Commission and the Scottish Law Commission and most were originally published by Her Majesty's Stationary Office (HMSO). Introductions are given to both tables providing background information to the project, explaining what is included in the tables, the sources used, notes on the text and availability of the acts.

Association of Muslim Lawyers

Website of the Association of Muslim Lawyers (AML), a United Kingdom based organisation concerned with issues relating to Muslims in the UK and internationally. The site introduces the aims and objects of the AML and gives details of the Executive Committee and events organised by the Association. The AML journal 'The Muslim Lawyer' is published occasionally and can be viewed on the site back to 1998. The site also includes a page of links to related organisations.

WorkSMART is a free online advice guide to employment rights produced by the Trades Union Congress (TUC). The website deals with employment rights providing FAQ's covering a range of areas including contracts, pensions, tax, discipline, discrimination and training. The section dealing with health at work covers all aspects of health and safety at work including stress, bullying, occupational health and disability rights. There is a 'union finder' on the website which allows you to search for trade unions by employer or sector.

Social Security and Child Support Appeals Tribunal

Website of the Social Security and Child Support Appeals Tribunal (SSCSA). The Tribunal deals with disputes relating to a number of benefits including Attendance Allowance, Carer's Allowance, Universal Credit and Vaccine Damage Payment. The site describes the role and work of the SSCSA providing key documents including annual reports, business plans, leaflets and a copy of The Benchbook which provides procedural guidance. Documents are given in PDF format. There is also guidance on how to appeal and an enquiry form to download.

The Copyright Tribunal was established in 1989, its main function being to make rulings regarding the terms and conditions of licences offered by, or licensing schemes operated by, collective copyright licensing bodies. Website of the International Law Office in London a company providing free access to a collection of free online legal newsletters. The newsletters can be browsed by law firm name, subject and jurisdiction or searched using keywords. Subject areas include banking, information technology, intellectual property, insurance, media, litigation and white collar crime. Most sections contain an overview of the subject with updates on more specific topics. Free registration is required to access the site.

House of Commons Background Papers

Collection of detailed briefing papers on UK parliamentary practice and procedure, produced by the Parliament and Constitution Centre at the House of Commons Library and published on the UK Parliament website. Includes briefings on public bills, private bills, hybrid bills, statutory instruments, the European Union (terminology, procedures and sources) and a timeline of UK constitutional developments from 1911 onwards.
