Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States

The Organisation of the Eastern Caribbean States(OECS) is an intergovernmental body founded in 1981 which seeks to promote cooperation amongst the nations of the Eastern Caribbean. Its members include Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, St Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Montserrat, Anguilla, the British Virgin Islands and St Vincent and the Grenadines. The site provides general information on the purpose of the body, its current activities and basic information about the member states. Details of projects and programmes are given along with documents, treaties and agreements.

British Management Data Foundation

Web pages of the British Management Data Foundation, an independent body active since 1979, with a membership base of major British companies. The Foundation is concerned with global competitiveness in business. Its website gives a profile of the Foundation and provides summaries of BMDF meetings. BMDF publications about the EU treaties of Amsterdam and Nice and the Constitutional Treaty are featured (but there is nothing available about the recent Treaty of Lisbon).

Cases of the CISG

Database of more than 2000 cases and arbitration decisions brought under the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods 1980 (CISG). The information is provided by Pace Institute of International Commercial Law at Pace University in the US. The database can be browsed by jurisdiction and there is also a search facility. A large amount of complementary information is also available, including the legislative history of the Convention; case law yearbooks; and scholarly commentary.

Annotated text of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods 1980 (CISG), provided on the web by Pace University's Institute of International Commercial Law. For each article of the Convention, relevant case law, scholarly commentary and details of the legislative history are available, together with other information.

CISG database

A collection of materials relating to the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG), provided on the web by the Pace Institute of International Commercial Law. An annotated text of the CISG is available, together with a database of case law, scholarly commentary, guidance on applying the Convention and other information.

International Institute for the Unification of Private Law

Website of the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT), an independent intergovernmental organisation based in Rome. The site presents information on the work of UNIDROIT and makes available the texts of its model laws and conventions (with status information). UNIDROIT proceedings and papers are provided from 1994 onwards and there is a searchable and browsable index to the organisation's journal, Uniform Law Review, from 1974 onwards.

European Union Treaties

Treaties section of the European Union's law website, EUR-Lex. Provides the founding treaties, accession treaties and treaties amending the founding treaties, plus protocols. The treaties include the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (TFEU) and the Treaty on European Union (TEU). Consolidated versions are offered for the TFEU, TEU and a few of the other treaties. The interface is in all the official languages of the EU, but not all of the treaties are in all these languages.

Australian Treaties Library

The Australian Treaties Library is a freely available Internet service providing public access to treaty information relating to Australia. The Library is built on a fully searchable web database including treaty texts, indexes, status lists and explanatory material in HTML format. The service is hosted by AustLII, the Australasian Legal Information Institute in collaboration with the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade who provide and verify the source materials.

European Parliament and the IGC 2000

This site was created by the European Parliament to provide information on its involvement in the Inter-Governmental Conference 2000, which paved the way for alterations to EU treaties so that new member states could join. In addition to archived news releases, it includes an overview of how EU treaties are revised and the role in this of the European Parliament. It also provides access to numerous full-text documents produced by the Parliament on this issue; they include parliamentary committee reports, resolutions, debates and speeches.

WIPO administered treaties

Section of the official World Intellectual Property Organisation website, publishing treaties and conventions administered by the Organisation, including the convention establishing WIPO, WIPO copyright treaty, Paris Convention, Berne Convention, Rome Convention, Madrid Agreement and Locarno Agreement. The collection is organised into three groups including intellectual property protection treaties, global protection system treaties and classification treaties which create the classification systems that organise information relating to inventions, trademarks and industrial designs etc.
