Family Law Bar Association

The Family Law Bar Assocation (FLBA) is a specialist group for barristers. The Resources section of its website includes the Assocation’s responses to government consultations, judgments, news items and FLBA reports. Some other areas of the site are restricted to members of the Association.

Armenian Bar Association

Website of the Armenian Bar Association, a membership organisation for American legal professionals with Armenian heritage. The site has information about important US and ECHR cases relating to Armenia, plus related articles and news. It also provides details of scholarships awarded by the Association. There is a list of links to relevant sites as well as a list of committees and members of the board of directors. The quarterly newsletter is available to download as PDF. Past and future event advertisements are also shown.

Supreme Court of Ireland

The website of the Supreme Court of Ireland provides information about the Court and about the Irish legal system generally. It makes available the ordinary judgments of the Court from 2001 onwards, and decisions on Article 26 references (parliamentary bills referred to the Court under Art. 26 of the Constitution) from 1940 onwards. The site also includes the Constitution of Ireland and a short bibliography of Irish constitutional law. It can be viewed in English or Irish; there are also general information pages in French and German.

Irish Human Rights Commission

The Irish Human Rights Commission is Ireland’s National Human Rights Institution, established under the UN’s Paris Principles. Its website makes available relevant legislation, policy documents, cases in which the Commission has acted as amicus curiae and selected cases from the European Court of Human Rights. There is also information about consultations and enquiries carried out by the Commission, together with press releases, speeches, a news bulletin, guidance about human rights and information about human rights proceedings.

Freedom of Information

The Irish Government’s freedom of information (FoI) website, providing information and guidance about Ireland’s FoI regime. A short guide to Irish FoI legislation is provided, together with the full text of relevant acts and regulations. Court decisions from 1999 onwards are available and reports are provided on the Publications page.

BelgiumLex

Portal to Belgian law: the site links to searchable databases of legislation, jurisprudence and parliamentary proceedings. The Legislation section features national Belgian legislation, the Flemish Code, official government gazette and international legislation covering the Benelux Economic Union, European Union and treaties applicable in domestic law. The Jurisprudence section includes judgments from the Constitutional Court, Council of State and Court of Cassation. The site is available in Dutch, French, German or English.

Employment Cases Update

Website of Employment Cases Update, a free legal information resource published by Bath Publishing Limited. Judgments of the Employment Appeal Tribunal, High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court, back to 2010, are indexed with short headline notes, keywords and links to the full text. Employment legislation is listed and keywords provide access to relevant cases, legislation and news. You can also sign up for free email alerts.
