Judiciary of Ukraine

Website of the Ukraine Judiciary which provides information on the courts and judicial system in Ukraine. Information on the Supreme Court, High Court of Justice and High Anti-Corruption Court is given although names of judges and other individuals are not currently listed. There’s a searchable database of scheduled cases and legal decisions can be searched using the Unified State Register of Court Decisions. Forms and guidance aimed at Ukrainian citizens are also available. The site can be viewed in Ukrainian only.

Courts of Hungary

This website is the National Office for the Judiciary in Hungary. It provides information on the judiciary and on the Hungarian legal system including civil and criminal proceedings. The site also covers the appointment and training of judges and gives information on developments such as digitisation of court procedures. The site can be viewed in Hungarian and English.

Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo

Official website of the Kosovo Constitutional Court which was established in 2009. The site has information on the history and role of the court, its structure and members. There is a copy of the Constitution and the laws relating to the court. Full text judgements can be downloaded from the site along with newsletters and bulletins of case law. The site can be viewed in English, Albanian, French, Turkish and Croatian.

Unified Patent Court

The Unified Patent Court (UPC) is part of the European unitary patent system that provides uniform protection across all participating countries. It was established by the Agreement on a Unified Patent Court (UPCA) 2013 and is currently used by 17 EU member states who are signatories to the Agreement. There is information on the jurisdiction and structure of the Court which comprises a Court of First Instance, a Court of Appeal, and a Registry.

Unitary Patent System

This part of the European Commission website outlines the unitary patent system which was launched in June 2023. The unitary patent provides uniform protection across EU countries who are signatories to the Agreement on a Unified Patent Court (UPC) with the Court providing a single, specialised patent jurisdiction. There is a guide to the unified system, official texts, including the Agreement on the Unified Patent Court, and other background documents.

LawNigeria

Online platform provided by Tree & Trees JusticeMedia Group. The full text of some items is freely available online (copying restricted) and PDF copies are available for a fee. The site includes federal and state laws, regulations, court rules, and judgments (1914 – present), as well as treaties. Contact information is provided for law firms and legal experts in Nigeria, arranged by practice area.

ECOWAS Community Court of Justice

Website of the ECOWAS (Economic Community of West African States) Community Court of Justice. The union was established by the Treaty of Lagos in 1975 and the Court was set up under the revised Treaty of 1991 (given on the site). Functions of the Court include determining human rights violations in member states, judging legality of laws adopted by ECOWAS and examining failure of member states to honour their obligations under ECOWAS law. Decisions are available in full back to 2015 along with annual reports, rules of procedure and practice directions.

Court of Justice of the Andean Community

Website of the Court of Justice of the Andean Community (ECJCA) which settles disputes between Andean Community member states arising under Andean Community law and ensures the law is applied uniformly. Cases heard by the Court include infringement, action for annulment, labour lawsuits and arbitration claims. Case summaries and profiles of the judges are given on the site which can be viewed in Spanish only.

The Bookshelf

A database of Philippine primary legislation, cases and reference material, compiled by the Supreme Court of the Philippines. Covers Supreme Court cases, laws, executive issuances, references and treaties. The Supreme Court cases section of the Bookshelf encompasses decisions and signed resolutions back to 1996 only, but cases are available back to 1901 using the search facility (E-Library Search). The Laws section covers acts, constitutions, presidential decrees and other legislative material from 1900 to the present.
