Supreme Administrative Court of Austria

Official website of the Austrian Supreme Administrative Court (VwGH) which has final jurisdiction in matters of administrative law including planning permits, industrial operating licences, fiscal and asylum matters. It is one of three supreme courts in Austria the others being the Supreme Court (civil and criminal matters) and the Constitutional Court (constitutional law). The site describes the role and functions of the court and provides a link to the annual report (in German).

Supreme Court of Justice of the Republic of Austria

Official website of the Austrian Supreme Court of Justice, the highest appeal court dealing with civil and criminal matters. The site gives information on the role and functions of the court along with a list of presidents. There is a link to the Rechtsinformationssystem database where court decisions can be viewed in German. The site can be viewed in German or via an English interface.

Judiciary of Bermuda

This part of the Bermuda Government’s website provides information on the court system and judiciary in Bermuda with sections dealing with the Supreme Court, Court of Appeal, Magistrates Court and the Supreme Court Registry. The site outlines the role of each court and gives weekly schedules, annual reports and contact details. Full text judgements are given for the Supreme Court and the Court of Appeal back to 2007.

Judicial Power and High Courts in Latin America

Online article providing an introduction to judicial power and the court systems in Latin America written by Gloria Orrego Hoyos who is Professor of Law and Legal Research at the Universidad de San Andrés and Universidad Torcuato Di Tella in Buenos Aires. The guide was published in 2021 on the Globalex website and made freely available by the Hauser Global Law School Program at the New York University School of Law. The author provides an overview to judicial power in the region, the constitutional courts and the court system in each country along with links to relevant resources.

Judiciary of Seychelles

Official website of the Judiciary of the Seychelles, covering a range of different courts, including the Supreme Court, the Appeal Court and the Constitutional Court, as well as employment and family law. The site provides information about the structure and organisation of the court system in the Seychelles and about the individual courts.

Illinois Courts

Official website of the courts of the US state of Illinois with sections covering the work of the supreme court, appellate courts and circuit courts. There are full text opinions of the supreme court back to 1996, details of justices, committees and commissions as well as policies, standards and rules. Opinions, rules and details of justices are also given for the appellate courts. Annual reports and caseload statistics are given for all courts. Information relating to the Illinois Judicial College and state law schools is also given.

Polish Judges Association

The Polish Judges Association (Stowarzyszenie Sędziów Polskich "Iustitia") is an independent self-governing association of Polish judges which aims to uphold the independence of the courts and the judiciary. The Association also promotes civil liberties and equal rights and represents the professional and social interests of the judiciary. The site has information and news items concerning judges in Poland, together with reports, statements and other documents issued by the Association. 

Consiglio Superiore della Magistratura (CSM)

Website of the Consiglio Superiore della Magistratura (Superior Council of the Judiciary), a body established under the constitution to ensure the autonomy and independence of the Italian judiciary. The site has information on the composition of the CSM and the judicial councils along with an outline of the Italian judicial system. It provides relevant legislation, including the Constitution, as well as internal regulations and documentation from conferences and meetings.The site can be viewed in Italian only.

Supreme Administrative Court

Official website of the Supreme Administrative Court of the Czech Republic. The court hears appeals from the decisions of regional courts, as well as dealing with specific areas of law, including election matters and issues involving political parties and movements. A selection of judgments can be viewed in Czech. The site also has information about the court and its current and past judges, key legislation relevant to the work of the court, and a procedural guide. The site can be viewed in Czech, English and German.

Republic of Serbia: Supreme Court of Cassation

Website of the Serbian Supreme Court of Cassation, providing information in English about the court system in Serbia and about the Court of Cassation in particular. English translations of court rules and related legislation available under 'Normative framework', together with an English-language excerpt from the Constitution of Serbia. The Serbian version of the site includes selected decisions of the Supreme Court of Cassation, the Supreme Court of Serbia, the Constitutional Court and the European Court of Human Rights.
