Constitution of Qatar

Electronic copy of the 2003 Constitution of Qatar made freely available online by the Qatar Government Communications Office. The Constitution is provided in English in PDF and has been amended up to 2024. Constitution of the Republic of North Macedonia

Website of the "Constitution Annotated" ("Constitution of the United States of America: Analysis and Interpretation"), a guide to interpretation of the US Constitution, provided by the Library of Congress. The site includes a searchable table of cases, Supreme Court decisions overruled by subsequent decisions, biographies of Supreme Court justices and other resources compiled by the Congressional Research Service. A complete, searchable copy of the Constitution is also given on the site.

Electronic copy of the 1920 Constitution of Austria (which was reinstated in 1945) made freely available online by the Comparative Constitutions Project at the University of Texas at Austin. The Constitution is provided in PDF and is amended up to 2009. The document describes the powers and functions of the executive, legislative and judicial functions of government. It also outlines the rights and responsibilities of the individual citizen.

Official site of the Uruguayan Presidency. Provides background information about the role and administration of the President, Vice President and Ministers, with links to the websites of government departments. Provides legislation from 2000 to the current year and the text of the Constitution as amended. A media section has press releases, video and photographs. The media and legislation sections are searchable. The site is entirely in Spanish.

 

Constitution of Uruguay

Electronic copy of the 1966 Constitution of Uruguay made freely available online by the Comparative Constitutions Project at the University of Texas at Austin. The Constitution was reinstated in 1985 and this version is amended up to 2004 and can be viewed in PDF or HTML formats. Chapters cover the nation and its sovereignty, rights, duties and guarantees and the functions of government including the legislative, executive and judicial powers.
