Archived handbook (version 21, 2018) setting out past professional standards for solicitors in England and Wales, on the website of the Solicitors Regulation Authority. The handbook was replaced by the SRA Standards and Regulations on 25 November 2019.

English medieval legal documents database: a compilation of published sources from 600 - 1535

Online bibliography of published sources of English medieval legal documents compiled by Hazel Lord, Senior Law Librarian at the University of Southern California School of Law, and updated by Paul Moorman. Intended for scholars and students of English medieval law, the database takes the form of a research guide, with links to the university's library catalogue. Broad categories include case law, statutory law, administrative law, private legal documents, writs and pleadings, treatises, research guides and bibliographies; these categories are further subdivided by resource type and date.

Court Funds Office

Court Funds Office (CFO) page of the UK government website, with contact information and brief guidance about making a complaint. The CFO is responsible for money being paid into and out of the courts, money belonging to people who lack the capacity to make decisions themselves and children who have been awarded damages through civil proceedings. It also provides a banking and investment service for courts in England and Wales.

Centre for Intellectual Property and Information Law

Website of the Centre for Intellectual Property and Information Law (CIPIL) at the University of Cambridge. Established in 2004, the centre carries out research into all aspects of intellectual property and information law, as well as holding conferences and seminars. The site gives information on research being carried out at the Centre and details of publications by its members. There are details of intellectual property related events and policy documents are provided.

Diversity and Fairness in the Jury System

Report on Diversity and Fairness in the Jury System written by Cheryl Thomas with Nigel Balmer and published by the Research Unit of the UK Ministry of Justice in June 2007. The report presents findings from the Jury Diversity Project looking at under representation of ethnic minorities on juries and the effect of ethnicity on jury decision making. There are chapters in the report dealing with the following issues: juror summoning; jurors who serve and do not serve; jurors at court and jury decision making.

International Law Book Facility

The International Law Book Facility (ILBF) is a UK-based charity which sends law books to the common law jurisdictions of Africa, Asia and the Caribbean. The site has guidance on donating books, including a list of preferred titles. There is also an application form for organisations and individuals who would like to receive books. The ILBF's newsletter is available on the site.

English Crime and Execution Broadsides

This Harvard Law School Library website provides access to the digitised images of around 600 broadsides (a form of street literature) reporting crimes or public executions from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. The collection can be searched by keyword or browsed by title, name or subject. There are short and full bibliographic records for each item, including links to the images. Search tips and FAQs are also provided, along with background information about the collection.

Safe Workers

The Safe Workers website is an advice and information resource focusing on workplace safety and UK employment law. The site brings together a collection of articles providing background information and practical advice on a range of employment law topics. Articles are organised by topic, including discrimination at work, employee relations, workplace safety and workplace bullying. All articles can be searched by keyword.

Disability Law Service

The Disability Law Service (DLS) is a UK charity providing information and advice for disabled people.  Its website has information about the DLS and its work, including its annual reports. Factsheets are provided on assessment of and services for disabled children, special educational needs, benefits and driving licences for disabled people. There is also information on training courses and campaigns, together with news and useful links.
