Arab Center for International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights Education (ACIHL)

French NGO doing research and translation work and giving training. Its website provides articles and other publications, including the ‘Recueil des textes des droits de l’Homme de la Ligue des États arabes’ (Collected Human Rights Documents of the League of Arab States) and the Center’s journal, ‘Revue Arabe du Droit International Humanitaire et des Droits Humains’. The Human Right to Development: Definitions, Research and Annotated Bibliography

Online article looking at the right to development of people living in low-income countries written by Jootaek Lee who is associate professor and foreign, comparative, and international law librarian at Rutgers Law School (Newark). Arab Center for International Humanitarian Law

The Arab Centre for International Humanitarian Law is an advisory body for the National Red Crescent and Red Cross Societies and is based in Riyadh. The Centre’s website, which is in Arabic, provides news, studies and articles, information about recently-published books and journals, and details of Arab national committees for international humanitarian law. It also has an Events page.

Administrative Tribunal of the International Labour Organization

Website of the Administrative Tribunal of the International Labour Organization (ILO) which is a specialised agency of the United Nations seeking to promote employment rights, human rights and social justice. The Administrative Tribunal hears complaints from serving and former officials of the ILO and other international organisations who recognise the ILO (list included). There are details of the judges who sit on the Tribunal, copies of the Statute and Rules of the Tribunal and guidance on filing a complaint. A link is given to Triblex, the Tribunal’s case law database.

Netherlands Commercial Court

The Netherlands Commercial Court (NCC) was set up 2019 as a chamber of the Amsterdam District Court. It deals with international business disputes and all proceedings and judgements are conducted in English. The court is governed by the Dutch Code of Civil Procedure which can be viewed on the site along with all NCC judgements to date. A selection of videos on using the NCC are also given.

Docip – Indigenous peoples' centre for documentation, research and information

Website of Docip a non-profit organisation that supports indigenous people defending their rights particularly within the framework of the European Union and United Nations. Docip holds a database of documents on indigenous peoples, including reports, conference papers, international legal instruments and UN resolutions, that can be searched on the site. There is guidance to key organisations and legal instruments relevant to indigenous peoples’ rights and information on human rights treaty bodies – committees of experts who monitor specific treaties eg.

War Crimes Prosecution Watch

Website of War Crimes Prosecution Watch an online newsletter produced by pro bono law firm Public International Law & Policy Group and Case Western Reserve University School of Law's Cox International Law Center. The newsletter compiles articles from news sources that detail and analyse the investigation and prosecution of war crimes throughout the world. Contents are arranged by region and subject and links are given to the original articles. The archive dates back to 2019.

Website of Public International Law & Policy Group (PILPG) a global pro bono law firm providing “free legal assistance to parties involved in peace negotiations, drafting post-conflict constitutions, and war crimes prosecution/transitional justice.” The site provides access to background information and educational resources covering topics such as conflict negotiation and mediation, negotiation skills, peace processes and peace agreements. There are also briefing papers on conflicts in East Africa, handbooks, negotiation simulations and a guide to negotiating ceasefires.
