Regulations.gov allows US citizens to access and comment upon every final and proposed regulation currently open for consideration in the US government legal newspaper 'The Federal Register'. These cover all aspects of economic, social and political legislation. It is possible to search by document type (such as public submissions, notices or rules), date, agency and docket type. Each entry gives a link to the text of the regulation and submitted comments can be read. Documents can be viewed in full text PDF or HTML.
Online guide to English-language source materials on Russian law, published on New York University's Globalex website. Written by Lucy Cox, it was last updated in 2014. Gives bibliographic details for print sources and links to online resources arranged by subject. Covers research and bibliographic guides, legal dictionaries, background texts, compilations of translated legal materials, codes, courts and journals.
The National Institute of Corrections (NIC) a part of the United States Department of Justice. NIC provides "leadership to influence correctional policies, practices, and operations nationwide in areas of emerging interest and concern to correctional executives and practitioners as well as public policymakers." There is an online library, publications and information on training and projects.
Website of the online legal journal Annual Survey of American Law which is a student edited journal of the New York University School of Law . The journal was established in 1942 and is concerned with "exploring contemporary legal developments in the United States". The link is to the current issue, but other recent issues back to 1999 are also available online. The journal organises and publishes proceedings from an annual symposium covering particular topics such as law and the media, church and the state, U.S. immigration and the future of public education.
Website of the Animal Legal and Historical Web Center which is a project based at the Michigan State University - Detroit College of Law. The site provides free access to primary legal materials and guides to the law. US laws and cases are arranged by state or subject. Subjects covered include animal rights, dog fighting and exotic pets. There is also information on the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES). The emphasis of the site is on U.S law but it includes legal materials from other countries such as the United Kingdom, Brazil, Malawi, Poland and Taiwan.
Online collection of disability discrimination laws from around the world made freely available on the Disability Rights Education and Defense Fund (DREDF) Website. The site lists more than 50 countries who have enacted anti-discrimination laws relating to people with disabilities. Most of the laws are given in full but some entries have just the sections relevant to disability discrimination. Translations (sometimes in the form of summaries) are given for non-English materials along with a source for the translation. The site also provides a list of sources for the various laws.
Website of the Science and Human Rights Program established in 1976 as a unit of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) Directorate for Science and Policy Programs. The SHR "works with scientists to 'advance science and serve society' through human rights". The Science and Human Rights Newsletter is available free to those who register, and full details of other publications are provided. There are links to all ongoing and completed projects that the SHR Program is involved with.

The site has organisational information including details of committees, events, discussion groups and membership information. There is a list of recently published books and separate sections aimed at young lawyers and students. Details are given of TIPS journals along with full text (PDF) access to TortSource the TIPS newsletter.
