The Institute of Practitioners in Advertising is the UK's leading trade and professional body for advertising, media and marketing communications agencies. It offers help to those wanting to join the industry, training for people already in advertising and lists of events. There is also up to date news on advertising. Some information on the site is only available to members of IPA.
The Legal Action Group (LAG) is a legal education charity providing support to lawyers and campaigning for improvements in the law and the administration of justice. Its website gives details of LAG publications, courses and campaigns. Contents and editorials from the Group's magazine, 'Legal Action', are also available, along with indexes back to 2000. The site provides guides to a range of legal topics and links to external resources. Subjects covered include community care, crime, employment, human rights, legal aid and welfare benefits.

The site has teaching materials and information on the law relating to additives and food labelling. The International Maritime Organization was established in 1959 with the purpose of providing a forum for intergovernmental cooperation regarding shipping engaged in international trade. Its current areas of activity include: maritime safety, marine pollution, international trade, navigation techniques and technical matters effecting shipping. Its website offers a description of the history and purpose of the IMO and a list of its members. It also includes summaries of all the conventions and treaties adopted since its origin. Information on publications can also be accessed.
Website of the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) the "Government Department responsible for prosecuting criminal cases investigated by the police in England and Wales." The site contains background information about the CPS including its history and role. There are pages aimed at victims of crime, contact details of local offices and press releases. The site also gives legal guidance for prosecutors and caseworkers covering the various types of offences, witnesses, case preparation, appeals, trial issues and sentencing.

The Web page contains contents tables and abstracts of past and current issues, together with information about subscriptions, the editorial board, advertising rates and instructions for prospective authors. The article titles and abstracts can be searched by keyword and there is a facility for emailing new tables of contents.
Index on Censorship is a bi-monthly magazine for free speech covering free expression and censorship issues from around the world. The site provides news updates and selected articles from the magazine made freely available online.
