Women in the Law UK (WILTUK) is a professional networking organisation focused on promoting leadership skills, diversity and wellbeing. Its website provides resources and links on the subjects of personal development, diversity and financial wellbeing, many of which are available to non-members. It also offers referrals to legal experts, trainers and coaches. The Talking Law podcast, by WILTUK founder Sally Penni, is featured on the site.
Website of the European Criminal Law Association (ECLA) (UK) a membership organisation of lawyers and academics concerned with the development of criminal law in Europe. The ECLA was previously known as the Association to Combat Fraud in Europe. A selection of reports and articles by members of ECLA are made freely available on the site. These deal with issues including organised crime, corruption, law enforcement and Brexit. Details of past and future events are also given along with a list of committee members and a copy of the ECLA constitution.
Urban Lawyers is a UK charity focused on making the legal profession more accessible to marginalised groups, and on educating young people from underrepresented backgrounds about the law. Its website has information about projects, events, training and the Urban Lawyers Education Programme. The Resources section includes free e-books on legal careers and information about mentorship. The site also has details of urban law societies around the country.
A podcast created by Dr Rachel Kellean and Richard Summerville from Queen’s University Belfast. Posted at intervals ranging from monthly to weekly, the episodes are hosted by staff and students, each focusing on a different legal issue or concept, often featuring academic or professional guests. Whilst solely audio-based, with no transcript available, the archive tab lists the episodes with accompanying notes, and occasionally relevant blog posts. The blog offers additional insight into some of the topics covered in the podcast episodes.
This archive, maintained by the Squire Law Library, documents the careers of eminent scholars associated with the University of Cambridge’s Faculty of Law. Records consist of an interview with the respective scholar, available as a video and as audio only, with a transcript. The interview is accompanied by additional material, such as a bibliography of the scholar’s work, photographs and biographical information. The interviews are in chronological order (commencing in 2005), with a name index.

An overview is available either in HTML format and the full 50-page document is in PDF format. It goes into detail over how treaties arrive in Parliament and what the powers and limitations of Parliament are.
List of treaties laid before the UK Parliament under the Constitutional Reform and Governance Act 2010, showing their progress through the procedure. The list covers treaties laid from June 2017 onwards. It is searchable by title or command number and can be filtered by criteria such as government department, house of Parliament, and whether there was a motion or recommendation not to ratify. There are links to the text of each treaty, its explanatory memorandum, the Votes and Proceedings of the House of Commons, and select committee reports.
Employment & Labour Laws and Regulations 2023 is an online comparative legal guide written by employment law specialists and published by Global Legal Group in London. This is a charged resource but parts of the guide are made freely available. These sections include jurisdiction chapters which give an overview of employment law in 34 jurisdictions covering terms and conditions of employment, employee representation, discrimination, maternity rights, termination of employment, data protection and employment tribunals.
Website of the Anti-Counterfeiting Group (ACG) an international membership organisation representing businesses, brand owners, specialist lawyers and trademark agents. The ACG works with UK, EU and international governments and law enforcement agencies to tackle crime in counterfeit and pirated goods. There is information about the work of the ACG, news and events and a directory of members. Information guides are given on the dangers of fakes, intellectual property crime and proceeds of crime.
Website of the Chartered Trading Standards Institute (CTSI) a membership body for trading standards professionals. The site also provides trading standards and consumer protection information aimed at consumers and businesses including guides to the law dealing with issues such as consumer contracts, product safety, underage sales and weights and measures. Details of events and a link to the CTSI Journal of Trading Standards are also given.
