The International Law Book Facility (ILBF) is a UK-based charity which sends law books to the common law jurisdictions of Africa, Asia and the Caribbean. The site has guidance on donating books, including a list of preferred titles. There is also an application form for organisations and individuals who would like to receive books. The ILBF's newsletter is available on the site.
Disability Law Service
The Disability Law Service (DLS) is a UK charity providing information and advice for disabled people. Its website has information about the DLS and its work, including its annual reports. Factsheets are provided on assessment of and services for disabled children, special educational needs, benefits and driving licences for disabled people. There is also information on training courses and campaigns, together with news and useful links.
Trusts, Settlements and Estates Manual
Online version of the Trusts, Settlements and Estates Manual (TSEM1000) published by HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) on the UK government website. There is an introduction to trusts and sections providing guidance to the legislation and the legal background covering the law in England and Wales and in Scotland. There is a section on the difference types of trusts and on trusts set up for particular purposes such as employment related-trusts or heritage maintenance funds; other sections deal with trust enquires, trust income and trust management expenses.
CaseCheck
CaseCheck is a website run by Moore Legal Technology, a consultancy set up by former solicitors. It provides free access to selected personal injury and negligence cases from UK courts. Case summaries are available back to 2000, browseable by name and/or area of law, or searchable by key word and other criteria.
Europa Institute, University of Edinburgh
The Europa Institute at the University of Edinburgh is a multi-disciplinary research centre, founded in 1968, focusing on the governance, institutions, policies and law of the European Union. Its website includes details of events and a blog called 'European Futures'.
