The site provides information aimed at child and adult survivors of physical, sexual and psychological abuse and professionals working for survivors of abuse. There is guidance, in the form of FAQs, on civil and criminal court procedure and on being a witness in court. There is guidance to the Criminal Injuries Compensation Scheme and information on the Human Rights Act and legal aid.

Open Access Scottish Law Reports

Website providing access to an archive of important Scottish session cases made freely available online by the Scottish Council of Law Reporting (SCLR). The archive contains cases from 1873 to 2007 and is being run using the Justis search interface. Reports can be searched by keyword or browsed by date and contain the case name, citation, court, judges and opinion. The SCLR is a non-profit company made up of Scottish judges, advocates and solicitors whose purpose is to manage the publication of its Session Cases law report series and other materials.

Arbitral Women

Website of Arbitral Women, a membership organisation for women working in arbitration and alternative dispute resolution. Members are based in over 30 countries. Contact details and profiles of members are available in an online directory which can be searched or browsed. The "Find a Practitioner" facility enables users to search for members using more detailed criteria including practice area, type of practitioner, country of residence, language etc.

Land rights in Africa

The Land rights in Africa page forms part of the Oxfam website providing information and documentation on Oxfam's work relating to policy and land law in African countries. The aim of Oxfam and other NGOs is to help communities become more aware of their rights. There is a statement of Oxfam's principles relating to justice and equality, access to land and security of tenure. Working papers and discussion documents are arranged under the following headings: Africa general; West Africa; East Africa; Horn of Africa and Southern Africa.
