Oxford University Commonwealth Law Journal

The Oxford University Commonwealth Law Journal (OUCLJ) is an academic journal providing a forum for debate in Commonwealth law. The journal is published for the Faculty of Law at the University of Oxford by Hart Publishing. The journal aims to "foster the exchange of fresh ideas about the law, and debate over its (the Commonwealth's) future development, between members of this international community". The journal features articles, case-notes and book reviews covering all branches of the law with the caveat that the material is of interest to its Commonwealth audience.

University Association for Contemporary European Studies (UACES)

The University Association for Contemporary European Studies (UACES) is a UK-based organisation for both academics and practitioners. It promotes research and the establishment of research networks, provides a forum for debate. The website has a Resources section providing videos, podcasts, blogs, and advice for PhD students and early career researchers.  The Publications section links to the Association's open access journal, Contemporary European Politics, and other journals; it also includes blog posts, and lists recent books by UACES members.

The British Safety Council

The British Safety Council is concerned with occupational health and safety. It works with companies in the UK and worldwide, to develop safe systems of work. The British Safety Council provides consultancy for the Health and Safety Executive and has campaigned for much UK health and safety legislation. The website has information about the organisation's many campaigns and details of training courses offered.

Bona Vacantia

Official website describing the role and work of the Bona Vacantia Division in the UK's Government Legal Department. The term "Bona Vacantia" ("vacant goods") refers to property that passes to the Crown because it has no owner. The site gives information about the Division's Companies Group and Estates Group. The Companies Group handles property relating to dissolved and insolvent businesses. The Estates Group deals with the estates of persons who die intestate or without known kin. A collection of Guideline documents are available.

Irish Law Reform Commission Papers and Reports

A BAILII database containing reports and consultation papers published by the Irish Law Reform Commission. The database presents documents from 1976 onwards in HTML format. Full search options are supported by browse options, alphabetically by title of paper or chronologically by date of issue. BAILII is a collaborative service aiming to provide public access to primary legal materials for the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland. The service is hosted in the UK by the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies and in Ireland by the Law Faculty, University of Cork.

England and Wales High Court (Technology and Construction Court) Decisions

A BAILII database containing decisions of the Technology and Construction Court of the High Court of England and Wales. The TCC hears claims relating to building, construction, engineering and computing disputes. The database features all decisions made publicly available through the Courts service from 1997 onwards to date. Cases are listed alphabetically by party name and chronologically by year with a sophisticated search facility and Recent Cases listing.

A BAILII database containing decisions of the Commercial Court of the High Court of England and Wales. The database contains all decisions made publicly available through the Courts service from 1999 onwards to date. Cases are listed alphabetically by party name and chronologically by year, with a comprehensive search facility and separate listing of Recent Cases. The British and Irish Legal Information Institute (BAILII) is a collaborative service working to provide free access to primary legal materials for the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland.

England and Wales High Court (Queen's Bench Division) Decisions

BAILII database containing decisions of the Queen's Bench Division of the High Court of England and Wales. The database contains selected decisions with the earliest from 1541. Most of the judgements date from 1997 onwards.Material included in the database has been made available to the Courts Service. Administrative Court and Crown Office List decisions are excluded and feature in a separate BAILII database dedicated to Administrative Court decisions.

A British and Irish Legal Information Institute (BAILII) database containing selected decisions of the Family Division of the High Court of England and Wales. The database includes all decisions from 2001 onwards made available to the Court Service and public. Cases are listed alphabetically by party name and chronologically by year. The system also offers a comprehensive search facility and section highlighting Recent Cases.

England and Wales Court of Appeal (Criminal Division) Decisions

A BAILII database containing decisions of the Criminal Division of the Court of Appeal of England and Wales. The database contains all decisions as provided by official shorthand writers WordWave International Ltd, for the period May 1996 to August 1999. Selected decisions from 1964 onwards are also available. Cases are listed alphabetically by party name and chronologically by year. The system features a search facility and a list of Recent Cases.
