Website of the academic Journal of Criminal Law (JCL) which is published 6 times a year by Vathek Publishing in the Isle of Man. JCL is aimed at practitioners and academics providing "detailed analysis of what is happening in the courts - at every level from magistrates' court right up to the House of Lords and the European Court of Human Rights". The journal provides case notes, commentary and articles with contents pages and abstracts for the current issue. Competition Appeal Tribunal

Website of the United Kingdom Competition Appeal Tribunal (CAT) a specialist judicial body whose function "is to hear and decide appeals and other applications or claims involving competition or economic regulatory issues". The site provides details of the Tribunal's current and archived cases. There is a brief description of what stage the case is currently at along with the associated documents such as the notice of application and transcript of public hearing. There is also a section bringing together all the judgements handed down by the CAT.

London Criminal Courts Solicitors' Association

Website of the London Criminal Courts Solicitors' Association (LCCSA) an organisation founded in 1948 whose members are Solicitors who practise in and around the Greater London area. The site has information about the association, contact details of officers and a directory of members. There is a selection of responses to consultation papers from the Government and the Law Commission representing the LCCSA's point of view on issues such as very high cost cases and managing people with severe personality disorder. Administrative Appeals Chamber of the Upper Tribunal

The Upper Tribunal (Administrative Appeals) is a Superior Court of Record which hears appeals against decisions made by the Social Entitlement Chamber, the Health, Education and Social Care Chamber, and the War Pensions and Armed Forces Compensation Chamber of the of the First-tier Tribunal. The site explains the structure and work of the Tribunal and the types of cases heard.

Holocaust Denial on Trial

Website hosted by Emory University in the United States focusing on the 2000 libel trial of David Irving v. Penguin Books and Deborah Lipstadt, but also including up to date news and comment on similar issues. The site provides background information and FAQ's about the trial and the holocaust. Coverage of the trial includes a transcript and a full-text copy of the judgment, as well as details of the appeal.

Hertfordshire Law Journal

The Hertfordshire Law Journal (HLJ) is published twice yearly by the University of Hertfordshire's Centre for International Law and is made available on their website for free. The HLJ was launched in 2002 and focuses on international commercial law and policy. It is aimed at academics, practitioners and those in the business community.

Asbestos Claims forms part of the Field Fisher Waterhouse (FFW) Personal Injury website. FFW are a London based law firm who act on behalf of asbestos disease claimants. The site includes summaries of leading asbestos cases FFW have been involved with. Publications on the site include full-text copies of the firm's newsletter, Asbestos News in PDF format and client guides on relevant topics.

Lawbore, the legal portal of City University in London, is aimed at City law students and others looking for legal information. The site is arranged by subject and includes sections covering banking, commercial, constitutional, criminal, family, environmental, employment and human rights law. There are also sections providing access to legal gateways, research tools, careers information and specific legal documents. Each section provides background information to the subject, a selection of links to related sites and to relevant articles and legal documents.

Committee of Advertising Practice

Website of the Committee of Advertising Practice (CAP), the advertising industry's body in charge of the UK advertising codes of practice. The Codes cover broadcast and non-broadcast advertising; they are available on the website, together with information and guidance about self regulation. Reports, consultation documents and newsletters are also available.

Acas Learning Online

A selection of interactive online training packages produced by the Advisory Conciliation and Arbitration Service (ACAS) and made freely available on their website. There are courses covering the following issues: discipline and grievance; managing absence; contracts and written statements; handling redundancy; working parents; bullying and harassment; sexual orientation; religion and belief and age discrimination. The courses feature case studies, exercises and quizzes designed to assess users progress.
