The IBA International Anti-Money Laundering Forum: the Lawyer's Guide to Legislation and Compliance

This International Bar Association (IBA) website is a discussion forum and source of information for lawyers working in the anti-money laundering field. It provides an introduction to the subject of anti-money laundering, together with outlines of anti-money laundering regimes worldwide. There is an implementation chart for the EU's Third Money Laundering Directive (2005/60/EC) and another chart shows which countries of the world have anti-money laundering legislation applying to lawyers. The Reading Room section provides articles, news, book reviews and other information.

IP Justice

IP Justice (IPJ) is a US non-profit organisation that promotes individual intellectual property rights. The website sets out its 'Principles of IP Justice' and provides IPJ publications and news, focusing on digital rights, internet governance and innovation policy. There is also information about IPJ's Cyberlaw and Policy Clinic.

European Group on Tort Law

The European Group on Tort Law is made up of scholars in the area of tort law and the website is hosted by the University of Girona in Spain. The group has produced a collection of Principles of European Tort Law which is focused on the harmonisation of tort law across Europe. The report is made freely available on the site in a range of formats and languages (including non-European languages). There are profiles of members of the group and details of their publications; some of these have links to the full text.

IPKat

IPKat is an intellectual property blog produced by a group of UK-based IP lawyers and patent agents. Founded in 2003, it focuses on UK and European law and covers issues such as copyright, patents, trademarks and branding. Links to other relevant web resources such as cases, legislation, news sources and company websites are also included.

Archive of European Integration

The Archive of European Integration (AEI), maintained by the University of Pittsburgh, is an online repository of documents relating to the development of the European Union. It consists of EU official documents, such as green and white papers, treaties and reports, and other material, such as conference papers, working papers and journal articles. The Archive can be searched by keyword, or browsed by topic, year, or document number.

Collegium

Academic journal of the College of the Europe, a postgraduate institute of European studies. The journal features articles (some in English, some in French) based on its annual colloquium in cooperation with the International Committee of the Red Cross in Brussels. The main focus is humanitarian issues such as the laws of war and international human rights law.

Durham European Law Institute

The Durham European Law Institute (DELI), at the University of Durham's Department of Law, focuses on subjects such as European constitutional law, the EU internal market, EU external relations law and fundamental rights. Its website gives details of DELI courses, lectures and conferences, its fellows and their research.

Centre for European Legal Studies

Website of the Centre for European Legal Studies (CELS) at the University of Cambridge. Outlines the Centre's work on EU law and the individual legal systems of European countries and provides information about conferences, seminars and lectures. There are details of CELS publications - including the Cambridge Yearbook of European Legal Studies - and a few working papers are available.

Council of the European Union

The Council of the European Union is the principal decision-making body of the EU, composed of government ministers from each member state. Its website gives details of Council meetings and European Council activities. The Documents section includes a register of internal documents, an Agreements Database (covering treaties), the EU Law Tracker (monitoring the progress of EU legislation) and the PRADO database of information about identity and travel documents. The Research section provides research papers and a collection of selected think tank publications.
