Website of the independent Judicial Commission of New South Wales, a statutory body whose functions include reviewing sentencing practice, providing judicial training and examining complaints against judicial officers. The site has information about the Judicial Commission and details of members and principle officers. The Commission produce a series of studies on particular aspects of sentencing policy in NSW.

Council of Australasian Tribunals

Website of the Council of Australasian Tribunals (COAT) the umbrella body for Australian and New Zealand tribunals. The aim of COAT is to provide training and support for tribunals, provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and to develop best practice based on collective experience. The site has a copy of the COAT constitution and a selection of background papers. Details of executive members and forthcoming events are also provided. There is a page devoted to each chapter with contact details, events and other local information.

Pacific Legal Network

Pacific Legal Network (PLN) is a group of law firms based in Australia and throughout the Pacific region who have expertise in the Pacific Islands jurisdictions. The website has information about the legal services provided by PLN and two newsletters are made freely available on the site. BankNote covers anti-money laundering issues and PLN News provides news and comment on developments in the law of the Pacific region. There are also legal updates given providing information on new legislation in the region.

Military Law and Peacekeeping Library (Australia)

An AustLII database providing access to Australian defence related legislation, regulations, case law, treaties and decisions of the Defence Force Discipline Appeal Tribunal. The project is supported by the Australian Department of Defence Legal Service. Other sections of the site include links to the international materials relating to military law made available by Worldlii and links to legal resources of a selection of other countries.

Australian Privacy Foundation

The Australian Privacy Foundation is a non-governmental organisation describing itself as the "primary association dedicated to protecting the privacy rights of Australians".The site has selected papers by the Foundation including articles, submissions and letters. These are available back to 1997 and apart from the older documents most can be viewed in full-text. Online resource guides provide access to privacy laws of Australian states and territories, to the Australian Commonwealth and to other countries.

Online directory of lawyers practising in Australia. Australian Lawyers Directory lists all Australian Solicitors firms and Barristers and can be searched by name, legal practice area or state. Practice areas include a wide range of legal subjects such as building and construction law, conveyancing, employment law, environmental and planning law and intellectual property law. Entries provide contact details with some including website addresses, emails and profiles of the firm. The directory also has several pages of links to other Australian websites.

Melbourne Journal of International Law

The Melbourne Journal of International Law (MJIL) is a peer-reviewed academic journal managed by law students at the University of Melbourne in Australia. It is published twice yearly and covers both public and private international law. The entire series is available on the website, together with details of the Editorial Board, Advisory Board and Honorary Advisory Board.

Constitution of Australia

This site contains the full-text of the Australian Constitution, which came into effect in 1901, along with background notes and related constitutional documents. The Constitution is made freely available in English by International Constitutional Law (ICL) at the University of Bern in Switzerland. The site also has historical and political information relating to Australia. Other documents provided include the Commonwealth of Australia Constitution Act 1900, the Statute of Westminster 1931, the Statute of Westminster Adoption Act 1942 and the Australia Act 1985.

National Alternative Dispute Resolution Advisory Council

Website of the National Alternative Dispute Resolution Advisory Council of Australia whose role is to advise "the Commonwealth Attorney-General on the development of high quality, economic and efficient ways of resolving disputes without the need for a judicial decision". There is background information about NADRAC including workplans, annual reports and a copy of NADRAC's charter which are all available to download in a variety of formats.
