Description:

The Legal Māori Resource Hub forms part of the Legal Māori Project at Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand, and was compiled by a research team in the Faculty of Law between 2008 and 2013.

The dictionary can be searched using English or Māori terms and includes referenced examples of these terms in use. The site also includes a digitised collection of legal and law-related texts in Māori from 1829 to 2009. This corpus can be searched by Māori term and the texts viewed in full. The corpus can also be browsed using a range of options eg. date, document type and category.
