The mandate of the Irish Law Reform Commission is to formulate recommendations for law reform and ensure the law is kept under review. It also produces restatements of the law of Ireland and is responsible for the Legislation Directory (formerly the Chronological Table of the Statutes), which lists amendments to Irish legislation. The Commission's website provides full details of its workand makes available all its law reform consultation papers and reports, free of charge, in the Publications Library. The Restatements section of the site currently provides a large collection of pre-certified restatements (consolidated versions) of Irish statutes. Other information includes a draft Classified List of Legislation, which lists Irish legislation by subject, and a set of links to other Irish law websites. There is a link to the Legislation Directory, which is hosted on the Irish Statute Book website. The site is in English, with a basic information page in Irish.
