The site has background information about the Parliament including history, how Parliament works, the system of government and information about Parliament House (including a virtual tour which requires IPIX plug -in). The role of the House of Assembly and the Legislative Council is dealt with giving profiles of each member, a calendar of sitting days and notice papers giving details of current business. All versions of bills introduced by either house can be searched on the site and there is coverage of the function and work of the various Parliamentary committees. Hansard can be searched for both houses back to 1993 and the information is displayed in PDF or HTML . Current South Australian legislation can be searched or browsed on the site.
