Supreme Court of the Czech Republic

This is the official Website of the Supreme Court of the Czech Republic. This is "the highest judicial authority both in civil and criminal law with the exception of the matters concerning the powers of the Constitutional Court of the Czech Republic." The whole site is available in Czech, with information about the Court (its history, structure, judges and more) in English and French.

Computers and Law Journal

The Computers and Law Journal is published quarterly by the Australian and New Zealand Societies for Computers and the Law. The Journal's intended readership includes legal practitioners, academics and computer and telecommunications company executives. Computers and Law Journal has feature articles, case notes and book reviews covering legal issues relating to information technology, the Internet, computer software, telecommunications and intellectual property. Journal articles older than a year can be viewed in full on the AustLII site.

Washington State Bar Association

The Washington State Bar Association (WSBA) is an administrative arm of the Washington State Supreme Court regulating and representing the legal profession in Washington. The site has information about the WSBA including contact details for the different departments and the activities of the various committees and sections.There is a member's directory, formal and informal ethics opinions and press releases detailing WSBA news back to 2000.

Washington State Bar News

The Washington State Bar News is the official publication of the Washington State Bar Association (WSBA) in the United States and is made freely available in full-text on their website. The journal focuses on law in Washington State, WSBA news and international legal developments. Articles, features, editorials and letters are presented in HTML format. There are also regular columns, disciplinary notices and practice tips. The journal's archive is available online back to 1999.

African Journals OnLine

African Journals OnLine provides access to more than 800 journals published in Africa, including law titles, with many articles available free of charge. It was established as a project by the International Network for the Availability of Scientific Publications. Users can register for email alerts.

Virginia Lawyer

Website of the Virginia Lawyer one of the official journals of the Virginia State Bar (VSB). The journal is published about 8 times a year and is made freely available online back to 1999. The Virginia Lawyer shares its website with the VSB's other official publication, the Virginia Lawyer Register. While the Virginia Lawyer provides substantive articles on legal topics the Virginia Lawyer Register deals more with the activities of the VSB.

International Water Law Project

The website of the International Water Law Project (IWLP) is produced by Gabriel Eckstein who is Professor of Law at the Texas Tech University School of Law in the United States. The site provides access to documents, case law, a bibliography, a list of water law experts and a page of web links to water related legal resources. Case law is compiled from the Permanent Court of International Justice and the International Court of Justice with some cases made available in full. World Water News gives summaries and links to full-text news stories relating to water issues going back to 2000.

International Water Law Bibliography

An online bibliography of international water law resources compiled by Gabriel Eckstein who is Professor of Law at the Texas Tech University School of Law in the United States and made freely available on his International Water Law Project website. The bibliography is divided up by subject including Africa, Asia, Europe, Middle East, Latin America, pollution, ethics, groundwater and economics. There are also headings for United Nations and World Bank materials and for statistics.

Madrid System for the International Registration of Marks

Information about the Madrid System For the International Registration of Trademarks, on the World Intellectual Property Organization's website. The site gives an overview of the System, along with a more detailed procedural guide. The relevant legal texts are made available, including the Madrid Protocol, the Madrid Agreement, Common Regulations and Administrative Instructions. Information notices relating to changes or amendments in the system are provided, along with forms and other details.

National Employment Law Project

Website of the National Employment Law Project (NELP) a New York based non-profit legal and advocacy organisation working on behalf of "low-wage workers, the poor, the unemployed, and other groups that face significant barriers to employment and government systems of support". The site gives details of NELP projects and includes full-text copies of project reports and press releases. Current projects listed cover the areas of immigrant workers, nonstandard workers (temporary or part-time), unemployment insurance, welfare and the low-wage workforce and work and the family.
