Website publishing the official code of the District of Columbia, USA. This is the 2006 edition of the code with subsequent amendments included. The code text is provided by the District of Columbia in conjunction with Westlaw. Links to the Constitution for the District of Columbia are included in the service along with a free text search engine. You will need to use a browser with cookies enabled to access this site.

SSRN Legal Scholarship Network

The Legal Scholarship Network aims to facilitate the distribution of scholarly information related to law, economics and business; it is a division of the Social Science Research Network (SSRN). It is free to join the Network, but subscriptions are payable for some of the services offered. Users of the Network can access research papers, conference papers, pre-print journal articles and other scholarly writings, either in the form of abstracts, or as full-text documents. Authors can submit their abstracts and papers online, for possible publication on the LRN website.

South Dakota Codified Laws

Website containing the legislation for the US State of South Dakota in codified form. The service offers a list of statutory titles to browse, the text of the Constitution of South Dakota and text of the codified laws current up to the 2007 session. The statutes and the Constitution can both be searched by keyword and there is a selection of FAQs.

Ius Commune Casebooks for the Common Law of Europe

Web pages describing a research project aiming to develop a collection of cases and other materials from different European jurisdictions. A broader aim is to investigate the influences upon and potential integration of legal systems in the member states of the European Union. The site describes the organisation, work and progress of the project and provides the contents lists and tables of cases and legislation from each casebook.

EUR-Lex: legislative procedures

The successor to PreLex, this part of the EUR-Lex website provides a database tracking the progress of proposals for EU legislation. The information provided includes details of the latest stage of the legislative or decision-making procedure, as well as previous stages, and links to associated documents such as COM documents, common positions, reports of the European Parliament, the Official Journal of the European Union and press releases. The site is available in all the official languages of the EU.

Federal Court of Australia Judgments

Official website developed by the Federal Court of Australia containing the full-text of judgments or decisions of the Federal Court of Australia (from 1977) and courts and tribunals administered by the Federal Court including the Industrial Relations Court of Australia (from 1994), the Australian Competition Tribunal (from 1997), the Copyright Tribunal (from 1997), the Defence Force Discipline Appeals Tribunal (from 1999) and the Federal Police Disciplinary Tribunal (1999).

Queensland Legislation

Official website developed by the Office of the Queensland Parliamentary Council providing full text access to Queensland legislation. The site includes acts and their subordinate legislation as currently in force, acts as originally enacted and subordinate legislation as originally made back to 1991 and bills as originally introduced into Parliament. Repealed legislaton can be browsed alphabetically. There is help with searching and guidance on the use of annotations. All the legislation is searchable by keyword.

European Ombudsman

The European Ombudsman (EO) is appointed by the European Parliament to consider complaints about the administration of European Union bodies and to adjudicate in cases of maladministration; the Ombudsman also carries out own-initiative inquiries. The EO website includes a database of pending and concluded cases; case documentation can also be browsed by type of document (decision, recommendation, and so on) and year (1990s onwards).
